“No. It has to be your choice.”

“Well, how did it work with George?” Jason gasped, and covered his mouth. “I’m sorry for saying that.”

Patrick smiled at him. “It’s okay to talk about George. He’s part of my history, just like Grant is for you.”

“I don’t want to talk about him.”

“And I won’t push it, but we will need to talk about it soon. You’re still married to him, after all.”

Jason groaned. He wanted nothing about Grant screwing up what he had with Patrick.

“What about George, then?”

Patrick shook his head, smiling. “George was what’s referred to as a full-time boy. He didn’t work, but he had his own interests. He followed the rules I gave him, and if he didn’t, he was punished.”

“I don’t want to give up my job.”

“I’d never ask you to do that. It was what George wanted, and I was happy to support him. I know your career is important to you, and I know you’re never going to call me Daddy in front of your work colleagues.”

Jason flushed at the thought. He’d be embarrassed if they heard him say that. Then he felt bad, because Patrick might think he was embarrassed about him.

“Relax, boy. I don’t need a full-time arrangement. How about I make a suggestion?”

Jason nodded. That would be a lot easier.

“When we’re here, I’m in charge. Not just in the bedroom, but everywhere. You misbehave and you get punished.”

“With a spanking?”

“If you’re enjoying it, then it wouldn’t be a punishment, would it? How about I don’t let you come?”

Jason gaped in horror.

“Or I don’t fuck you for a week.”

“Well, that’s just punishing us both.”

Patrick laughed.

“I’m sure I’ll think of something suitable. Outside of here, or anywhere private when it’s not just the two of us, you cancall me Patrick. If you feel comfortable, you can call me Daddy. I’ll follow your lead.”

“Okay,” said Jason, nodding. “What are these rules you mentioned?”

“I’m glad you brought that up. We’re both going back to work the day after tomorrow, and we won’t see each other as much. I need to know you’re looking after yourself.”

Jason wondered what Patrick was going to ask him to do. He knew it wouldn’t be embarrassing, but would his brothers know what he was doing? Langdon would love to take the piss out of him.

“You need to text me every morning when you wake up and before you go to bed. If you’re going out after work, let me know. You don’t need to ask for permission, but I want to know where you are.”

“Can’t you just download Find My Friends? I’ll forget to send a text and I don’t want to get in trouble. I just forget things sometimes.”

“I know you do, and we’ll do the Find My Friends as a backup, but I expect you to text me as well.”

“Can’t I just stay here every night?”

“You can stay as often as you want. But you’ll want to see your brothers, and you work from home a couple of days a week, so you won’t be here all the time.”

Jason pouted. He wanted to be here all the time, but then he might come across as too needy. It was how he’d been described by everyone who’d rejected him, starting with his mother.
