“Bleeding night!” His hands threaded through my hair, his fingers tightening.

Before I could overthink it, I slowly worked to sheath his crown in my mouth, and the stretch of my jaw made Zane whistle.

“Careful, baby girl. That’s a meal, not a snack. Don’t choke.”

“Quiet, pest,” Casimir hissed.

Inch by torturous inch, I slid further down Koa’s length, juggling breathing with the struggle not to gag.

“Slowly, little wife,” Casimir coached as Zane muttered curses into his palm. “Stop if it’s too much.”

I pulled back, gasping, only to try again with renewed determination, and for one whole glorious minute, I did it. His breathing grew rougher, and pride bloomed in my chest each time his hips stuttered.

Then a deep growl tore from his chest, raw and desperate, and he surged upward with a choked, “Seri!”

His swollen crown hit the back of my throat hard enough to send tears streaming down my cheeks. I gagged as thick heat flooded in faster than I could swallow or breathe or think past stars exploding behind my eyelids. Panicking, I fought for air through my nose, but it wasn’t enough. My vision blurring, I smacked his leg with one hand, and he immediately pulled out.

Coughs wracked me as I fell on him.

“Fuck!Fuck fuck fuck!” He hauled me upright by the armpits. “I’m sorry! Did I hurt you? Seri!”

“Open up,” Casimir demanded. “Let me see your throat.”

His thumbs pried at my jaw despite my raw coughs, and Koa rubbed soothing circles over my diaphragm. I batted their fussing hands away once air stopped burning as it went down.

“I’m fine!” The hoarseness of my voice made both of them wince.

Then Zane was there, holding a glass of water to my lips, and I gratefully drank it.

“Easy, buttercup. Small sips,” he murmured while glaring over my head. “The hell, Ko?!”

“I’m okay,” I rasped.

“No, you’re not!” Zane protested.

Koa recoiled from my outstretched hand as if burned.

“Don’t. Don’t touch me. I—” Voice cracking mid-sentence, he fixed his eyes on the ceiling. “Should have known better. Shouldn’t have let myself— Ihurtyou—”

“Koko, look at me.”

His gaze snapped to mine, his eyes full of self-loathing. With a soft sigh, I cupped his jaw, stroking my thumbs over his five o’clock shadow.

“You stopped when I needed you to. That’s nothurtingme; that’strustingme to tell you when it’s too much. You were just enthusiastic.”

“Enthusiastic?” Zane snorted. “He nearly turned your windpipe into an accordion!”

“You withdrew the moment I signalled you.” My fingers brushed the seam of Koa’s welded lips. “That’s more control than most could manage.”

“Yeah, unlike some of us who have to be threatened with castration to pump the brakes,” Zane muttered.

“Talking about yourself?” Casimir rumbled. “You did once get your dick stuck in—”

“We do not speak of the pool noodle incident, Casimir!”

“Shut up, you two,” Koa growled. When I moved closer, he flinched, but didn’t pull away. “Seri, I could’ve—”

“Crushed my larynx? Bruised me? Tore something?” I arched one eyebrow, taking a page from Zane’s book. “Please. The other night, you stoppedmid-thrustbecause I whimpered from a cramp in my calf.” His cheekbones flushed crimson, making my pulse skip a beat, and I climbed into his lap, my knees bracketing his hips. “Want to know what I felt? Powerful. Because Koa Rain Cimmerian came undone forme.”
