I’m blushing now. “It would appear that way.”
“And it took me, oh, only a few minutes to learn that about you.”
“Yeah.” I can’t disagree.
“You’re beautiful when you come.”
“Thank you,” I reply shyly. His praise might take some getting used to, but I can’t deny how much I love it.
“You’re not stuck in your head anymore.”
“I’m not. So, what now?” Can I ask him if we can do it again? It’s what I want. He’s turned something on inside of me, and now it’s begging for more.
Calm down.
The buzzer from the front gate breaks our heated moment, and we both groan at the shitty timing.
“Laura’s here. You’re picking a dress now.”
“Okay. You should let her in.” I look away, feeling a little overwhelmed, and start to climb off his lap, but he stops me by holding me in place.
“Hey, I’ll be having none of that.”
“None of what?”
“The awkwardness and you feeling embarrassed.”
“I’m not.” I am.
“I wanted to show you that your body isn’t broken. The men you’ve been with have been the problem all along.”
“I’m not broken.” I sigh, feeling instantly better.
“You’re perfect.”
CHAPTER TWENTY-FIVE
Leon
I’m sitting opposite Erika at the dining table in Avante, feeling like a man who’s won the lottery tonight because Erika is with me, not just as my plus one but as my girlfriend.
Not only does she look a million bucks in the dress Laura picked out for her, which fits her like a dream, but those plump lips of hers, covered in the shiniest pale gloss, are begging me to kiss them. I want to fucking devour her.
I smirk to myself as I remember what I did to her today: I made her come. All over my fingers. When she told me no one had ever been able to bring her to climax before, I saw it as a challenge. Part of me wanted to show her what she’s been missing all these years, and I couldn’t help myself. The other part of me selfishly took what I have craved from the start.
My obsession with her is growing each day, and I never want to find a cure for it.
I want more touches, more intimacy, more of her moans, more of everything.
Patience, Leon.
That’s all I’ve ever been.
That ends tonight.
Finishing my dessert, I lay my spoon down and take a large gulp of water before I go on to explain some of my ideas to build Hope’s brand.
Her father might have arranged our business dinner, but ultimately, it will be my team and I who deals with Hope directly while she is living here in Canada. This is my job right now, in this moment, to win them over face-to-face.
