She blows him a kiss and shakes her hips just a little bit more as she goes.I stifle a laugh, knowing Storm won't be happy about being called a baby.

“Sometimes I wonder why I stay here. The men fear me and the women aren’t scared of me in the least.”He shakes his head.

“Oh, yeah? Are you going to leave the Savage Wolves? Are you going to leave me?”

“Never.I'm here for the long haul, Little Fox.”

Chapter 21

Storm

I'mgrabbingsuppliesoutof my truck to work on the café when a string of motorcycles drive by.They move slowly in front of the building with their attention on me.I glare at them.I might not have my cut on, but it’s in my car.I could easily slip it on if they decide they want to cause issues.

They don’t stop though. They keep going, but I don’t like them being in our town.No one wearing a cut should be here without talking to us first. Those weren’t Sinners, those were Reaper’s Wrath and they don’t belong here.

I make a mental note to talk to Porter tonight. If they’re in our town without talking to us first, this is bad news.It means they’re not here on friendly terms.

I'm tempted to go talk to him right away, but I promised Dixie I’d have the wiring completed tonight. That way Jasper and Morris can get a few guys to help them hang dry wall tomorrow. We planned on already being finished with all of this, but we hit a few snags with the plumbing.Chopper’s been working here almost every night and getting home late. It’s been insane, but it’s finally coming along.

The skunk incident took away a night from him working. He said it took him forever to get Roxy to calm down and get her to bathe in tomato juice.I'm not sure if it worked, she still smelled horrible the next day.Even if she didn’t smell, people would be giving her a wide birth because of her glare alone.

Apparently, she wanted to fight Dixie over getting sprayed.I’ve never met a woman itching for a fight as much as Roxy. She’s always seconds away from punching someone.

Porter had to step in and talk to her.The last thing we need right now is a war between the triplets when there are so many issues with other motorcycle clubs pressing in on our territory.

“Are you ok?”Dixie steps outside and tugs her sweater around her shoulders a little tighter. She’s so beautiful today. She has on a pair of knee-high boots with black leggings and a long t-shirt with an adorable plaid poncho type sweater on top.She looks like she’s ready to hit the slopes, not help me wire a restaurant.I love how willing she is to get her hands dirty just so she can spend time with me.

“Yeah, I was just grabbing some things.”I smile at her, trying to ease any nerves she might have.I don’t want her to know about the club that just rode through.I don’t want her worrying for no reason.I’ll handle all of it and make sure she’s protected.

I snake my arm around her waist and press a soft kiss to the top of her head as I lead her into the building.I don’t want her outside. The less people to see her hanging out here the better. We might need to give some prospects jobs here just so Dixie’s protected at all times.

“How do you make this look so easy?”Dixie watches me with such pride in her eyes. It’s addicting to feel like I'm doing something to impress her.

“I’ve been an electrician for years, Little Fox.I started working with my dad when I was about fourteen and never stopped.”

“Twenty-two years is a long time… Oh my gosh! You started doing this the same year I was born!”She covers her face with her hands and laughs.

“Well… Now I feel old.”I frown at her, not liking this one bit.

“I kept telling you, you’re old, but you didn’t want to listen,” she singsongs with a big smile on her lips.

“I'm not sure if I can date someone so young.”I grimace as I stare at her.

“Storm!Don’t you dare even joke!”She folds her arms over her chest and glares at me.

I chuckle as I climb down from the step stool I was on so I could get some wires into the ceiling for the overhead lights.I tug her into my arms and stare into her beautiful honey-colored eyes.

“I love you, Little Fox,” I whisper my confession.I'm not sure if this is too early to admit this, but it feels right. There’s no way I’d take this risk of dating her and risking Porter’s wrath if I didn’t already love her.

“I love you too,” she murmurs as she stands on her tiptoes and presses her lips against mine.

Her fingers toy with my hair as she deepens our kiss.We haven’t gotten nearly enough time alone recently.I’ve been craving her and it’s slowly killing me.

I lift her into the air and grin when she instantly wraps her legs around my waist. She never hesitates to cling to me.

Placing her on the bar we still need to install, I slip my hands under her shirt and settle them on her waist.I'm about to deepen our kiss when someone clears their throat.

“Should I come back?”Chopper asks with a smirk in his voice.“You know what… I think I should come back later. What do you need, Storm, two minutes?”
