My eyes well with tears as I cover my mouth.

“It’s still the same chain, but they made it stronger, so it won’t break again.” He lifts it out of the box and undoes the clasp. “May I?”

I nod, too overwhelmed to speak. He fastens it on my neck and straightens the heart on my chest. I reach for it and then lean forward and hug Damon to me.

“Cam, Hawk, and I are like that chain. We need each other to hold you together when the world tries to tear us apart, little devil.”

“Damon.” I rest my head over his heart. “I love you.”

“I love you too, Evan.” He breathes out against my hair and holds me tight against him. “We should probably let the others know we’ve talked, and the orgy can begin.”

I smile and look around the deserted parking. Biting my lip, I reach for his belt. “We don’t have to hurry, do we? Didn’t you promise to fuck me so hard on your motorcycle? Something about making me scream?”

He smirks and takes my mouth, saying into it, “I fucking love you.”

CHAPTER 36

EvanAnn

Saturday morning,I’m huddled in the stands of the ice rink with a hot chocolate. Keira, Mia, and Mark have all joined me to watch the guys in action. The guys told me what Jackson said about Mia. How he pointed to her as the stalker, to which I laughed in their faces.

There’s no way. But they pointed out the possibility, just like with Chase, she could fit the circumstantial evidence. I don’t point out that it’s just as likely them doing all this to get closer to me. To make me need them.

I don’t think they would have taken that well. But I did agree to think about it.

Uncomfortable on the hard plastic, I shift in my seat again. Mia laughs.

“Was someone grateful to be home last night?” She nudges me with her elbow.

Mark chuckles and looks at his phone.

Keira smirks. “She’s practically glowing.”

I press my lips together, refusing to say anything, but they curve into a smug smile. When Damon and I finally got home, Cam and Hawk joined us. Damon was far from done fucking me, and the others happily participated. I woke in a tangle of limbsand very messy, but Damon just lifted me in his arms and took me into the shower with him.

“Everything good in married life?” Mia leans back in the chairs. “I mean you guys live together and fuck together and eat together.”

“No more forbidden romance. No sneaking around anymore because the parents don’t know,” Keira adds on.

I blow out a breath. “We’ll see how comfortable with us they really are at dinner tomorrow night.”

“Keeping it in the family.” Mark puts his phone away and grins at me. “So how about you get us a backstage pass to the locker room? I’m sure one of these guys can be convinced to try something new.”

I shake my head at him.

“When’s Fletcher going to have another party?” Keira asks. “Mia, you guys are seeing each other. What do you know?”

“I would have thought you’d be wary of parties after the last one,” I say, a little concerned.

Keira shrugs. “Olivia is gone, and I learned a valuable life lesson about getting my own drinks. I just never thought a girl would give me a spiked drink.”

“Any offering from Olivia should have been met with a heavy dose of skepticism.” Mia rolls her eyes. “That girl was crazy. Fletcher tends to prefer a private party these days. Less likely to get him into trouble.”

“I just think it would be fun to party together. We’re just going to have to name a time for getting together and commit to it, aren’t we?” Keira straightens. “Something else can always come up, but maybe Sunday after rehearsal? It would get you out of family dinner, EvanAnn.”

“Don’t tempt me.” I smirk. “It would serve Damon right. I had to field our parents on my own since he was gone last week.”

“How was his trip to Crowne Mawr?” Mia asks.
