She’s very shaken up and we’ll need to help her get home, but that can wait or I’ll give that task to one of my other men, because all I can focus on is getting back to Willow and finally being able to hold her and talk to her properly.

I pull out my phone and open the app showing her tracker. I watch it blink back at me showing that she’s at the house and I blow out a breath to try and calm my racing heart and boiling blood.

Willow is safe.

Willow is safe.

Willow is safe.

I repeat the mantra inside my head over and over again the entire drive back to the house, ignoring Lev, Ivan and Anton in the background.

It’s half past twelve and there’s still a lot to do tonight, like finding Tommy and his men and taking care of them.

We have a plan in place to find them with the help of the Triad connection through Nikolai and when we do find them, they’ll be taken to one of the warehouses we occupy here. We’ll get the information we need from them about the car, why they’ve been stalking Willow and wanted more weapons before we have our fun of making sure their deaths are as slow and as painful as possible.

Seeing Willow being held on one of their mens laps like she was property he owned, completely against her will, made me want to kill every single one of them there and then. It was Lev who surprised me however, I thought when he saw Alina he would immediately put a bullet in someone’s skull, but he went the opposite way which is actually somehow scarier.

I’ve only seen him this quiet and calculating when he’s gone so far off the rails willing to stop at nothing to get the outcome he wants, which I know is murder, pain and violence.

This is the Lev who’s my Sovetnik, who everyone knows is behind the mask he puts on and exactly why so many are afraid of him. With me, everyone knows I’m ruthless on the outside and inside, but with Lev, once you’re in his sights, when he goes completely cold and his mask slips, there’s no getting out alive.

We finally pull up to the house and I jump out of the van and race to the front door. Opening it up and storming inside, I find Willow and the girls sitting on the sofa in the main living room to the right. Nikolai and his men are sitting around the table and I know they are working on getting a lead on where Tommy is.

I stalk over to Willow and at the same time she notices me, she stands from the sofa and walks towards me. I don’t botherwaiting to see if she’s still angry with me, when I’m within reaching distance of her I pull her into my arms, rest my head on top of hers and breathe in her scent.

“Willow, I’m so sorry.” I say through an exhale as she wraps her arms around my waist and grips on to my shirt.

“It’s okay. I’m just glad you’ve come back safe. Where’s Ella?”

She loosens her grip on me and looks up at me with hope that Ella is about to walk in behind us and I hate that I’m the one who has to tell her we didn’t get her out.

I move her towards one of the sofa’s and pull her down beside me before telling her what happened.

“It was too dangerous. Tommy was threatening her life and there was nothing we could do without risking him killing her, but we’re looking for them now. This night is far from over, we’ll find her Willow.”

She doesn’t say anything back but her face shows a look of understanding, like she knows just how dangerous Tommy is and it makes me think about how much fear they all must of felt around him this weekend and what he’s possibly done to them all.

“I know it might be hard, but I need to know everything that’s happened since you arrived. Everything Tommy or any of the others have done. Can you do that for memoya dusha?” I say as I stroke down her hair, taking her all in.

“Yeah, okay.” She sniffles and I kiss her forehead just as Lev walks into the room.

“What the fuck happened?” He growls as he walks towards the girls, staring down at Alina with so much pain and fury on his face.

I look at her and notice that with her having removed her makeup, there’s brutal bruising around her throat. I immediately stand and rush to stand in front of her, facing Levand holding my hands out to stop him from getting any closer to her. He would never hurt her, but I don’t know if she wants to deal with him right now, especially with how angry I know she still is with him, with all of us.

“Calm downmoy brat. We’ll get them soon. Just calm down.” I say holding him back as he continues to stare at Alina past my shoulder.

“Give me a name Alina. Now.” He says sternly and I let go of him but still remain standing where I am.

Lev is obsessed with her, he would literally kill himself if it meant she was safe and while I understand that, with the mindset he has right now and how unpredictable he can be, the level of crazy in which he would climb to for Alina is undefinable.

“Finn.” Her voice softly echos from behind me and I turn to face the girls as she continues.

“And he probably would have killed me if it hadn’t of been for Willow. She smashed a bottle over his head to get him to let go.” She adds and suddenly there’s a few audible inhales of breaths around the room.

“No fucking way. It was you who did that damage to him Wills?” Ivan asks standing in the doorway with a grin on his face.

“This isn’t funny Ivan. We have no idea what they’ve been put through the last two days, they are all fucking traumatised!” Lev shouts across the room surprising me, because he took the words out of my mouth.
