Just three words and it feels like time stands still.

“Where?” I grind out as I watch Willow through the shop window. She’s so happy, she has come along amazingly well in the last four months. If the bad news is something has happened to Ella, this will fucking ruin her.

“That’s the bad news… We’ve traced him to Ireland.”

“Motherfucker!” I spit.

“I know. We don’t know where exactly, but we know he is there somewhere and there’s no sign of him or any of his men leaving again. They are hiding, but we’ll be able to pin point them soon. When we do, I’ll let you know.”

“Nikolai will help. He’ll meet with your men and they can go through any and all CCTV of every street, bar, hotel, even hack some fucking doorbell cameras for all I care until they spot the fuckers. We’ll get him.”

“We will. It might take another couple of months, so I wouldn’t tell the girls just yet until we know exactly where he is and if Ella is okay.”

“Deal.” I tell him and hang up as fast as I can when I see Willow walking towards the door, smiling at me through the glass.

“Hey you!” She smiles as she runs towards me and throws her arms around my neck. She presses her lips to mine, sighing with content as I meet her lips with my own demanding kiss. I set her down and open the car door for her, helping her get inside and doing her seatbelt for her before I round the car and get in the drivers side.

I turn to her and take in her smiling face before the next words come out of my mouth.

“Marco found Tommy.” I tell her straight, because I’m never lying to her again. If Marco thinks I’m keeping this from her he can argue with the barrel of my gun for all I care.

“WHAT! WHERE?” Willow shouts in complete shock.

“Please tell me Ella is okay!”

“We don’t know if she is okay, but they have been able to locate that Tommy is in Ireland so she is most likely there with him. That’s all we know. We don’t know exactly where in Ireland and it may take months of scanning through CCTV and everything our tech guys do to trace exactly where he is, but it’s a start.”

She lets out the breath she has been holding, bringing a hand to her heart.

“I know she is okay. I can feel it. This is good. This is really good. It’s better than not knowing anything.” She says nodding her head.

“It is, and when we do know exactly where he is. We’ll send people to get her and bring her back.”

“Thank you, thank you for everything.” She exclaims as she jumps across the centre of the car, hugging me.

“I told you I wouldn’t stop until we find her.” I tell her gently because I know as much as she is telling herself this is good news, I know part of her wishes I was able to of told her more and she will be anxiously waiting until the day we know exactly where Tommy is and if Ella is even still with him, or alive.

“I’m going to need to digest this news for a while before we go out tonight if that’s okay?” She asks.

“Of course. Are the girls coming to our house to get ready or do you want me to wait and you can come with me?” I ask.

We’re going to the club tonight. It’s Alina’s birthday and it will be the first night Willow’s had out drinking with her friends again since everything that happened, and as much as she is nervous, she is also incredibly excited, so I want tonight to be as special as possible for her.

I’ve made sure there is nobody else on the balcony floor, they have it all to themselves as well as bottle service the entire night so none of them have to even step foot on the floor below unless they want to.

“They are coming over to ours. You go play big bad boss while I play dress up.” She teases, running a finger over my scar which sends a shiver down my spine and blood straight to where I don’t need it to be right now.

“You’re the only person who gets away with talking to me like that, but maybe I should teach you a lesson every once in a while.”

I grab her wrist and bring her hand down to my groin, letting her feel how hard she makes me.

“Mmm, how about I tell the girls to come over an hour later than planned?”

She raises an eyebrow at me with a smirk on her face.

“I think that would be a good idea.” I reply as I turn the car on and drive as fast as I can to get us the fuck home.
