The lantern light turned her skin golden, and her eyes were wide as they searched mine. “What did you do to me?” She released my hair, only to slide her fingers through it again and keep me close.

I touched my lips to her neck, pushing down my own needs to focus on her. “You liked it?” I asked against her overheated skin.

I’d removed my pyjama pants, leaving nothing between us. Just our bodies pressed together and Sadie’s legs framing mine. We were so close, I had to breathe through the tension.

Her chest moved beneath mine with a deep inhale. “Yes. No one’s ever made me finish from that before,” she said in a rush. “I can never relax enough.”

My throat tightened, and I lifted my head. “Seriously?”

Sadie trailed her fingertips down the side of my face. Her gaze dropped to my mouth, and she nodded.

With my full weight resting on her, I pressed myself against her, hard and ready, and her soft whimper almost unravelled me. The slightest tilt of her hips or mine, and I’d be inside her. The anticipation hovered between us, growing stronger with each passing second.

“Can you feel what you’re doing to me?” I asked. “Seeing you let go like that… God.”

I sank one hand into her hair and lowered my head to take her mouth again. We started off slow, but the sensation of her body shifting under mine ramped up the urgency in us both. Her mouth turned hungry, her hips moving restlessly. We touched and kissed, tongues meeting, breaths turning harsher.

Sadie threw her leg over me and pushed me onto my back, and the grin I’d tried to hide before came out full force. My head landed on the edge of the pillow with a thud, and she straddled my lap, pushing my shoulders onto the mattress.

As I stared up at her, tense with wanting, I meant to sayplease don’t hurt me, but it came out wrong. “Please hurt me.”

“Hmm. Interesting.” She dipped her head and sucked on my lower lip, using just enough pressure to have my pulse skyrocketing. “I never knew you were into that,” she said, her voice a sensual murmur.

I groaned and lifted my hips. “Neither did I.”

The heat of her surrounded me, teasing me. Luring me in. I wanted her so much it had become a physical ache.

So close.

Not close enough.

When she straightened, I ran my hands over her breasts, skimming the nipples I’d teased with my tongue on my journey south. Her skin broke out in goosebumps, and her breath caught. With the lantern highlighting her features and the shadows hovering behind her, she was a strange mix of sweet and dark—and if I was honest with myself, maybe too good for me.

To see her like this when she’d always seemed so untouchable felt surreal.

“I need you.” I cradled her head and brought her mouth down to mine, our breaths intertwining. Her long hair and the scent of her shampoo fell around us, and we sank into a slow, deep kiss, building the fire.

While our lips moved together and our tongues met, she reached between us and eased me inside her. The heat and pressure, the sweet glide as I filled her, had my chest shuddering with a rough breath. She surrounded me, overloading my senses, drawing out a side of me I hadn’t shared with anyone in years. My heart thudded, and I held on for dear life.

Her hips rocked in a steady rhythm that had a groan rumbling in my chest, her silkiness testing my restraint.

Sadie pushed off me and sat up straighter, her eyes locking with mine, her mouth parting to let out a heavy sigh. I held her waist and thrust upward, matching her pace, losing myself in her.

“You look so good from up here.” She flattened her palms on my chest, her fingers flexing against my skin. I lifted my hips andthrust into her harder, and with a gasp, she said, “You feel even better.”

“You should see my view.” My gaze dropped to her breasts, and I caressed her nipples, moving with her as she rocked faster, sliding back and forth, pushing me to my limit.

A flush crept from her chest to her neck as she slipped closer to the edge. Affection rushed through me. Desire. I couldn’t take my eyes off her. I moved my hand between her thighs and touched her with my thumb, rubbing in slow, circular motions. She dragged in a shaky breath and tried to smile, but she was too far gone.

I pushed her harder, slowing my thrusts. Applying more pressure between her thighs. Her eyes locked on mine, and her tongue peeked out to dampen her lower lip. She was gorgeous. So fucking gorgeous.

It only took a couple more sensual circles with my thumb to have her breaking.

“Theo.” Sadie breathed my name. Her stomach tensed, her body trembled. She clenched around me, and I almost closed my eyes to keep it together.

Shuddering. Sighing. A long, silent moment.

When she settled, I pulled her down onto me, drawing her into a heated kiss, holding her tight as I plunged inside her again and again.
