I blinked and they were sound asleep, snoring softly. Very confusing. The ceiling I stared at offered no insight.

Chapter Sixteen

I LOVE Saturdays. They’re thebest. The only thing that even comes close is a Friday night. But Saturdays easily take the cake. And the filling. And the frosting. And any fruit involved, too.

Today, we were going to the Aquatica as a group. No one was working today or tomorrow. Their first weekend off. Well, there was a tiny blip on Sunday evening where we had to go to a party Mr. Fresby was throwing for Sensations fifteenth year anniversary, but that was only supposed to last a few hours. So, all in all, the weekend was free for relaxing as one. My attitude was even light and I wasn’t griping at anyone.

We arrived right around ten o’clock and headed straight for the private cabana that Stash had insisted on. It was enormous. Lord, I loved that they had splurged on this. I wouldn’t have to worry too much about burning in the sun. Red-haired faulty gene and all.

I took my cargos and shirt off. And stopped.

And stared, shirt dangling from my fingertips.

Brent and Cole had just stripped off their shirts and shoes. Brent wore orange swim trunks and Cole wore black. Both trunks were long enough to cover their knees, but Lord have mercy. They rode low on their hips, affording a scrumptious view of all kinds of tempting flesh. And they couldn’t hide the fact that both were very much well endowed. I gulped.Oh my.

Ally muttered, “You’ve got it bad.”

“Huh?” I asked, staring for all my eyes and brain was worth.

“If you could manage to tear your eyes away from the Terrible Duo, then look around.” She chuckled. “You’ll see what I mean. And you didn’t even notice.”

I did glance around then. A pause. A blink. Everyone in the group was disrobing from their street clothes and it was like a Holiday for the lickable and sexable. They were all tone and built and curvy – Chloe, but…my eyes wandered back to Brent and Cole.Yeah, much better.

“Jesus. You are bad off,” Ally chattered.

I ignored her as Brent leaned back and stretched and Cole applied suntan oil – not block – to his chest and shoulders.

“Come to momma,” I whispered.

Ally choked on a laugh and thrust a bottle of SPF 50 at my stomach. Predictably, with my focus elsewhere, I fumbled and dropped it. I sighed in frustration having to quit staring – okay, so maybe I was still a little grumpy – and bent down to retrieve it where it had rolled and disappeared beneath a padded lounge chair. I snagged it after practically climbing under the darn thing. I wiggled out from under the wooden slats and managed to make it to my hands and knees without scraping or bruising myself.

I glanced up, blowing my bangs out of my eyes, and found Cole and Brent staring at my behind. I wondered how long they had been watching me squirm without offering to help. I started to fume until their heads began moving. I was afforded a real good view of their eyes, then. Sparks flew in their gazes as they traveled up my body, eyes ignited when they landed on my breasts. Both lunged at me.

I glanced down and realized that the rims of my pink nipples were showing above my bathing suit. Ugh. I hated this thing. Why the heck couldn’t they make a decent suit without having to worry about spilling over the front?

I was lifting a hand to fix it when I was jerked off the ground from behind – thank you, Cole – and Brent stood in front of me, slipping his fingers under the suits material and yanking it upover my nipples. I scowled at them. As if I needed the help. They scowled right back.

“Where the hell did you get this bathing suit?” Brent asked severely. Eyes narrowing, he tilted his head to stare at Bas and Stash. “And how many times have you gone swimming in the hotel’s pool?”

From my suspended position off the ground, I pointed an accusing finger at Ally – I still hadn’t forgiven her highhandedness. “It was her fault. She made me buy the darn thing.”

Ally scuttled out of the cabana lickity-split, hollering back, “She looks hot. You two should be thanking me.”

Brent shouted, “You can run, but you can’t hide from me, Ally Sue.”

She ran faster.

Cole growled beside my ear. I shivered as the sound rebated through his chest against my back. He whispered, the tone flowing seductively across my goose pebbled flesh, “Do you swim a lot in the hotel pool, sweetheart?”

I bit back a moan, nodding without really thinking. My mind snared on the delicious skin pressed against mine.

“Bas, Stash, I suggest you also run.” Cole chuckled dangerously, setting me down on my feet. “We’ll even give you two a head start, just to make it sporting.” They grinned at the two men who slowly backed up before pivoting and sprinting out of the cabana. I’m guessing they were my regular bodyguards during the day. Poor Bas wasn’t going to last twenty feet even with the head start. Now, Stash on the other hand…

I jumped in front of Cole and Brent and smiled great big, and asked softly, “If you leave, who’s going to help me with my sunblock? If I miss even one spot, I’ll burn.” I dangled the sunblock right in front of my breast.

They stood there blinking for almost a full half-minute while everyone else stared at them in silence – helpfully - before they snapped out of it. Their eyes moved over my head to the rapidly retreating Stash and Bas. I pouted and asked softly, “Please? I need help with it. Or, maybe someone else could help me…”

Whoa!
