“We got her.” Gwen growled her words. “A fat lot of good it’s done.”

“You’re welcome for me knocking off half of the army attacking the Stronghold,” I grumbled. I wasn’t loud, though, because I knew what Lord Cato was doing. I didn’t want to talk about it yet, but he was going to force my hand.

“We have the Breaker, but there’s another prophecy involving the Breaker.” He turned and looked at me. “Right, princess?”

I cleared my throat and picked at my fingernail.

“Kimber Stormbreaker,” he said, naming me. “You need to tell them.”

An angry huff escaped me. “You’re right, Lord Cato. What does it matter if we know it or not.”

Dorian and Bel folded their arms at the same time and turned their stare on me.

My shoulders dropped in defeat. “Okay. Fine. Rilen and I may have found something in the library.”
