“El Calafate.”
“Good. And where are your commanders?”
“Stupid bitch. How could you not know that?”
“This was not my war until your general made it so.”
“It was always your war.”
“You have no idea who I am and what I’m capable of. He murdered my mates, and now I will bring this war to the doors of those who hide in their command chairs and hand out death warrants for the thousands who wanted nothing more than to protect those they loved.”
He spat more blood at me.
“Keep it up. I adore the taste of your sweet blood.” I dug my claws into his neck. “Where are they?”
“Buenos Aires and they will destroy you.”
“Not in this life. You destroyed any chance you had of ending this war so that you humans might resume your lives. We are immortal. Let’s just see who’s going to remain to fight us when we finish with you.”
He tried to spit at me again, but I dug my gun into his guts and fired up to his heart. He was dead before I even pulled my claws back to let him fall.
My first stop was El Calafate.
Then, I would wipe this Buenos Aires from the map.
I made sure to run over at least three bodies as I sped from the camp with the stolen vehicle.
