“I need you at the clubhouse,” King barked.
I wondered who he was talking to.
“Just fucking come back. Alone!” He shoved the phone back into his cut and walked over to face off with the three angry men standing in front of his mother. “Back the fuck off!”
“Son.”
“Don’t fucking say it, Sal. Dec is on his way, and none of you are talking to her until after I fucking do. So again, back the fuck off.”
O’Malley stepped back, grumbling. And Snoopy did as well. Morpheus, on the other hand, refused to budge. King crossed his arms over his chest. “Do I need to go get Jackson?”
Growling, Morpheus glared at King before he too stormed off.
“Declan is here?” the woman asked.
Ignoring his mother, King asked O’Malley, “Where is he?”
He must have known who King was talking about because he answered, “At my brother’s house.” O’Malley smirked. King pinched the bridge of his nose and turned to the Viking. “Did you know who I was before you walked into my fucking house?”
The Viking nodded.
“Asshole,” King growled, and I chuckled. Guess I wasn’t the only one with a pain-in-the-ass little brother.
A few minutes later, Sheriff Declan O’Rourke walked in. “What’s going on, King?” He looked around the room, taking in every face until he got to the woman and whispered, “Darcy?” He pulled her into his arms and hugged her tight. “Holy fuck!” he hissed as he looked at King.
“I need you to take her home,” King ordered firmly. “I can’t deal with this right now.”
The sheriff looked at O’Malley and then nodded at King. “Let’s go. My wife is going to have a coronary.”
“Dec,” King pulled on the sheriff’s arm.
“I’ll handle it, little brother.” The sheriff led the woman outside, and King glared at the fucker who had brought his mother in. “A heads-up would have been fucking nice, Dread.”
Dread shrugged and then smirked. “More fun this way.” He grabbed King’s hand and gave him a one-armed hug as he whispered something in his ear. He walked out, and King turned back to the room.
“Let’s finish this shit.”
Jumping into the fray, I clapped my hands together, rubbing them as I smiled. “Alright, listen up, fuckers. Enough of this bullshit. I don’t give a damn who fucked whom, whose blood is running through whose veins. I have a fucking plan, and if you all know what’s good for you, you’ll pay fucking close attention.”
Reaper groaned. “You are not in charge, fucknuts.”
I smirked, then winked at the fucker. “I am right now.”
When Reaper threw his hands in the air, I continued, “Alright, here’s what’s going to happen. Anyone not a patched fucking member of the Golden Skulls, Soulless Sinners or the Silver Shadows, needs to kick rocks. You’re dead to us.”
“Not fucking leaving,” Morpheus snapped, getting in my face. “My son is downstairs. Not letting you decide his fate.”
“THEN PICK A FUCKING SIDE!” I roared, getting in the big fucker’s face. “I’ve had it with you. You’ve been a fucking thorn in my side from the second I learned about you. You want a say, then man the fuck up and stop being a pussy!”
I knew it was coming before the big fucker even threw back his hand and punched me in the face. Flying back, I landed hard on the floor and, as I anticipated, Reaper had his blade at Morpheus’ throat.
“Dare me, motherfucker? Please,” my boy snarled as I grinned, wiping blood away with the back of my hand before Arizona helped me to stand.
“ENOUGH!” King roared. “This is my motherfucking castle, and I’ve had enough shit today to last me a lifetime.”
“He’s already picked a side, brother,” Ravage grunted, leaning against the wall. His face was pale as he held tight to his stomach.
King rushed over to Ravage and growled, “You shouldn’t be down here.”
