“Good. Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, we need to discuss this.” She waved between the three of them. “As attracted as we all may be to one another, I’m still not convinced a relationship between the three of us is a good idea.”

“You’re attracted to us?” Despite his earlier upset, Danny grinned, quick and boyish.

A pale blush stole across Addison’s cheeks. “I find you both incredibly attractive, yes. And, if I’m being blunt, I enjoyed spanking both of you very much. Physically, I don’t see any issues with our compatibility. Assuming neither of youmind getting your adorable bottoms fucked when you’ve been particularly naughty.”

Heat licked across every inch of Kylie’s skin. Beside her, Daniel squirmed and blushed, ducking his head to study the glass of water in front of him.

“Eyes on me, Daniel.”

Kylie watched, fascinated as Danny forced his eyes up to meet Addison’s. While she knew he was a submissive and she’d seen him get spanked on occasion, she’d never seen him interact with a Domme this way.

It was really fucking hot.

“Good boy,” Addison purred. “Tell me the truth, Daniel. Have you ever been pegged?”

“N-no, Ma’am.”

“Do you want to be?”

“I-I, um I don’t know… maybe?” he whispered, the color in his face darkening.

“That makes me very happy to hear, sweet boy.”

“Really? Even though you don’t think we’re a good match?”

“That’s not…” Trailing off, Addison sighed. “I’m going to tell you a story, and I want you both to listen. When I’m done, we can talk about whether or not we want to move forward with this relationship. All right?”

“Yes, Ma’am.”

Dragging in a deep breath, Addison nodded. “The reason I don’t think I’d be a good Mommy is because I’ve been one before. And it broke my heart.”

Chapter Ten

Addison

If there was one thing she loathed more than anything else, it was discussing her failures. Even as a child she’d hated admitting she wasn’t good at something, so she’d invested a lot of time and energy into being the best at everything.

Admitting she’d failed at something so intensely personal…

It didn’t sit well.

But as she’d told Kylie, trust and vulnerability, especially the kind a dynamic of this nature demanded, required honesty.

So honesty she would give them.

“Her name was Deanna. We met at a club when I was in my early twenties and just figuring out what I wanted from kink. I knew I was a Domme right down to my toes, but I wasn’t sure what kind of Domme I was. And then I met Deanna. She was a Little, and she was fucking adorable.”

Needing a moment, she sipped at her wine while Kylie and Daniel watched on, their attention riveted on her. “We dove right in, which was our first mistake. But we were both young and very new to the kink world, so we didn’t know enough to know how much wedidn’tknow. I gave her what I thought was structure and rules she could thrive in because she was a bitof a mess. Always late, always misplacing things. Looking back, she probably had a bit of ADHD, or maybe a lot. Whatever the reason, she didn’t thrive with my rules. She withered.”

“Oh, Addison.” Rising from her seat, Kylie hurried around the table to take the seat next to Addison, the comforting weight of her head coming to rest on Addison’s shoulder a moment later.

“I thought if I was just stricter, if I pushed harder, eventually it would all fall into place. Because everyone struggles in the beginning, at least that’s what people told me. To just give it time, to give her time to adjust. But she never did, and one day I came home to a box of everything I’d ever bought her sitting on my kitchen table beside a note.”

“What did the note say?” Daniel asked, his voice soft.

“A lot. But the general gist was that I had broken her heart… and her Little. That her Little was too scared to come out around me anymore because I was too harsh. Too…mean. That maybe I could be a good Domme to someone someday but she hoped I never got a chance to ever break another Little girl the way I’d broken her.”

Silence fell, and she took another sip of wine as she waited for them to tell her she’d been right from the beginning, that things between them had no hope of ever working out.
