She was tempted to push him, just to see if he’d follow through on his threat. But she actuallydidfeel really bad for calling him a name, and the thought of being paddled by Professor Renard after being strapped by him didn’t appeal in the slightest.

“Sorry.”

His grip on her chin tightened. “For what?”

Fuckhe was good at this. “I-I’m sorry I called you a dickhead.”

“Good girl.”

Oh.Oh, she liked that. She’d been on the Ranch long enough to know she enjoyed being praised by her professors and the occasional Ranch staff member, but hearing it from Danny, herDanny was another experience altogether. One that sent her heart galloping in her chest as moisture pooled between her legs.

Maybe she was wrong. Maybe they didn’t need a Mommy after all. Even if Danny wasn’t a Daddy, he clearly could be dominant when the situation called for it.

But then he released his hold on her chin, and the spell was broken. His grin flashed, and her sweet, goofy best friend was back.

“Come on, Ky. We need to figure out exactly how we’re going to get our hot professor to paddle our asses.”

Oh, boy. What had she gotten herself into?

Chapter Five

Addison

Seated behind her desk, waiting for her first class of the day to arrive, Addison forced her attention back to the lesson plan for the day. Her attention kept wanting to stray to a certain blonde Little girl and her protective best friend.

Specifically the way they’d both looked over her knee the night before, their bottoms turning a lovely shade of pink beneath her palm.

Focus, Addison.

Right. Focus on her class, and not the way Kylie would look in the schoolgirl uniform she’d taken to wearing this year. While the uniforms weren’t required for all students, some preferred the additional structure that wearing one provided, as well as the extra discipline that came with being out of uniform.

Kylie, for reasons that continued to escape Addison, had asked to be added to that group of students at the beginning of the year. So far, according to the school disciplinary roster, she hadn’t been cited for a single violation, and the school year was almost over. Every single other student who’d requested a uniform had at least a few marks against them.

But not Kylie. She was perfectly well-behaved, seemingly at all times. It was incredibly rare for any of the other professors to report a need to discipline her or send her to Grant, the school disciplinarian. They hardly even found the need to scold her, as far as Addison could tell.

Daniel was a different story. While he wasn’t nearly as bratty as some of their students, he still seemed to enjoy being in trouble on occasion. Addison had never personally needed to discipline him, but his name did come up at least once during every monthly report.

The door to her classroom opened and her breath caught in her throat at the sight that greeted her. Kylie, adorable as always in her perfectly pressed uniform, her head thrown back with laughter, presumably at something her companion had said. Her uniform skirt didn’t quite reach her knees, and every step she took gave Addison a tantalizing view of her creamy, thick thighs.

Her companion, on the other hand, looked every bit the carefree college student. Sporting a graphic tee with a picture of an odd-looking die with the words “They See Me Rollin’” printed on it and a pair of baggy jeans frayed at the hem, he was Kylie’s opposite in every way.

And she found them both entirely too compelling.

“Ms. Nichols. Mr. Hollis.”

The pair paused just inside her classroom, their gazes both locking on her. Pink blossomed in Kylie’s cheeks and Addison couldn’t help but wonder if she was remembering the night before, when she’d been bare-bottomed over Addison’s knee.

“Morning, Professor,” they parroted together before Kylie hurried off to take her usual seat at the front of the class.

Daniel, however, lingered. One corner of his mouth had quirked up in a smile that hinted at some secret he was hiding beneath those boyish good looks. “You look lovely today, Professor Renard.”

She was used to students flirting with her. But usually only at the beginning of the year before they realized she wouldn’t be swayed to go easy on them just because they threw a few pretty words her way. So it knocked her off-balance, this sudden show of interest from him so late in the year.

Right. That’s the only reason you’re “off balance”. Keep telling yourself that.

Keeping her gaze locked on his, she slowly raised one eyebrow. “Thank you, Daniel. Please take your seat.”

“Yes, Ma’am.”
