“Umm,” I squeak when his hand grips my neck while the other holds me prisoner on his dick.

“I need the words.” He grounds out, though we both know he’s not giving the chance to utter them. Driving deeper, harder, he makes me take every delicious inch of his dick.

“Ohmygoodness, Ti—,” gasping when he hits my spot again and again, pushing me closer and closer to orgasm.

Clutching his hand, I lace my fingers between his long digits, digging into my soft belly. “P-Promise, youuuu,” the words arestrained and shattered as the torment of the climax my husband is giving me topples my entire world.

“Good little wife,” his voice rumbles as he finds his own release. Burying his face in my neck, he kisses and sucks the flesh there deep, marking me even more clearly as his own.

“You always do too much,”I mutter, wrapping myself in the vintage kimono Mrs. Takeda sent me, looking at the passion marks he’s left on my skin.

“No, Haha is doing too much. Turn.” He nods, still adjusting his tie.

“Why?” Asking as I look down at the priceless silk I’m wearing, feeling self-conscious. “Do you think it’s appropriation for Ev to wear this?”

“No.” Shaking his head, he smiles, showing the rare dimple in one cheek. “You are a Takeda, Japanese by marriage, so it is totally acceptable for you to wear my mother’s present.” Leaning forward, he kisses my cheek before standing back to tie the sash appropriately. “Turn,” he instructs, wrapping it around to the front and then back again to form the intricate knot.

“Why do you say she’s doing too much?” I ask once he steps back to appreciate his handiwork.

“No reason,” he dead-eyes me, “other than her orchestrating the kidnapping to take you away from me and trying to encourage you to leave me again.”

“She just wants us to be happy. Y’all needed to get some act right. It’s good for y’all to know you don’t have the upper hand in the whole situation.” Shrugging, I go over to the box of jewelry.

Taking the family pearl teardrop earrings, I clip them on.

“Seems like I had more than a little ‘act right’ not so long ago,” he murmurs, pressing his big body into mine.

Looking up into the deep onyx of his gaze, I can’t deny his words, but I’ll be damned if I give his arrogant ass anymore but ammunition.

“C’mon before we’re late.” Doing my best to ignore his chuckle, I pull him behind me.

“Kuso.”Turning my shocked gaze to my husband, I watch as he furiously texts a subordinate who dared to interrupt our family dinner.

Riyu’s face across from us is a hard mask. Though he didn’t make an outburst like his twin, I can tell he’s just as angry as Takashi.

“Is something wrong, musuko-kun?” Okasaan asks quietly, though we are in a private room of Omotesando Ukai Tei.

“Forgive us, Mother. There is an emergency that requires our immediate attention.” Both men rise, bowing to us.

“Wait,” I grab Takashi’s wrist. His hand flexes, but he doesn’t throw me off. I watch frustration ripple across his face, but he stops giving me all his attention.

“What’s going on? Is everything okay with Flower and Akchiro?” Seeing my worry for our family, he softens barely. Reaching out with his other hand, he touches my face. “They are fine. Our servers had been knocked offline across the entire Takeda network — an obvious cyberattack. Probably ransomware.”

“We need to go,” Riyu says, pressing a kiss to my friend’s lips.

Takashi bends to brush a kiss across mine. “Don’t wait up.” I give him a look, saying he knows I will, which brings a ghost of a smile to his lips.

“Well, that’s quite a start to the evening,” Okasaan says as servers bring the second course in.

“Bravo.”We cheer along with Hisashi, Taylor, and the packed crowd of theatergoers as the actors take their ovation.

Hisashi still attended the play when Takeda was under attack, which surprised us. He assured us he’s already put fail safe’s in place not only to stop the attack but to trap the culprits into thinking they’d succeeded. It was Takashi and Riyu’s role to monitor and take the lead from there.

“Takeda is a finely run conglomerate. Everyone’s part honed like a Katana’s blade. That is why we are the most efficient and successful business in the world. This little nuisance will be put to rest soon.” I could see that the culprits would be as well if the dark gleam in his gaze is any indication.

“Congratulations, Taylor.” Squeezing past her husband, who acts like he has to guard her with his life and won’t even move for Ev and me, I give my cousin-in-law a hug.

“Aw, thank you, cuzzo.” Taylor hugs me back before turning to do the same for Ev and Mrs. Takeda.
