“What if you two traded contact info?” Ivan reaches into my purse and pulls out my phone. “Maybe we can help somehow. We’re about to have a massive platform. We might as well use it.”

Alex doesn’t hesitate to take my phone from his hand and plug in her number. “I’d like that. I think we could do a lot of good together.” After she hands me my phone back, she plants her hands on her hips. “Enough shop talk. How did you like the show?”

Derrick steps forward, looking like a million bucks in his tight trousers and a button-up shirt that brings out the stormy grey color of his eyes, and extends his hand to the quiet twin. “You were incredible on the tightrope. I’ve never seen anything like it. I’m Derrick.”

The Alpha ducks his head, avoiding eye contact, buttentatively reaches out and shakes Derrick’s hand. “I know. I watch the show. Dexter.”

Dario swings his arm over his brother’s shoulders. “Don’t let his lack of enthusiasm fool you. It’s his guilty pleasure. He’s seen every episo-oof.” He bends over after catching an elbow from Dexter in the gut. “Rude. I’m your own flesh and blood!”

Jude releases a long-suffering sigh and rubs between his eyes. “Knock it off, you two.”

Quinton steps around everyone and approaches Grant. “I’m scent matched to a Beta, too.” He waves his hand at Maestro. “That’s Matteo. Don’t meet a lot of Betas with scent matched Alphas, and I’ve never heard of two matching the same one. Pretty cool, honestly.”

My Beta, dressed in a pair of flowing trousers and a low-cut silk shirt, looks gorgeous as he angles his body toward the other Alpha. “Yeah, we’re pretty lucky. A lot of people don’t believe us, though.”

The circus Alpha bobs his head as Grant talks. “Yeah, I’ve seen that on the internet. Why would you lie about something like that? Stupid.”

“Was any of it fake?” Dexter’s voice is kind of flat, and he’s not smiling at me, but he doesn’t seem unfriendly. I would wager that he’s shy when not on stage with his brother, because he’s wearing a baggy black shirt that he almost disappears into.

“Nope. No script. We watched it as it aired to see how they edited it. They got a little creative to make things seem more tense or stressful than they were, but the rest of it was right. They didn’t encourage any fake storylines or anything.”

Why did I say that?

I should’ve claimed some of the sex stuff was faked for the cameras to save me some dignity.

“Nice. Cool that you guys met on anUnexplainable and Bizarreforum. I loved that show, too.” His eyes have grown brighter with every word, especially when his Omega slides to his side and rests her head on his shoulder. “But I agree with Ariana. There’s no way it’s fake.”

Derrick groans and throws his head back. “Not you, too! I can’t believe how many of you are gullible enough to believe that.”

After a few minutes of arguing about the possibility of paranormal activity, we drift into natural conversation groups. Dexter and Quinton bombard me with questions about the show and the filming process. They really are super fans and had a lot to say about Bridgette and Bradley.

I overhear Dario asking Grant for tips on becoming a model. My Beta has gotten several messages inviting him to collaborate with brands since the show started airing, so hopefully, he can quit his day job soon and model full-time. His almost androgynous beauty is in high demand, and there are more fan edits featuring him than for any of the rest of us. Even the network has been using him the most in ads. I can’t blame them. My Beta is a stunner.

My goofy Alpha looks right at home with Matteo and Quinton. His dark hair is falling into his eyes, and I struggle to look away from the V of exposed skin on his chest and the curls of dark hair. He looks amazing in a luxe maroon tee and tailored denim. I have to intervene when Ivan asks how to get started with sword swallowing.

No way am I going to let him attempt that.

Jude and Derrick are deep in conversation, and I catch them looking over at Alex and me several times. It’s incredible to see Derrick look small compared to the other Alpha.

We talked long past the end of our meet-and-greet time. They were all down-to-earth and fun, not at all whatI expected from popular, high-end entertainers. Since the Cirque appeared on the strip a few years ago, it’s been sold out for nearly a year in advance. It’s almost impossible to get tickets.

The whole night felt like hanging out with old friends, and it was the perfect way to end our trip. By the time we’re walking out of the theatre where the circus is, we have to head right back to Headonistic Heat since we have an early flight.

As we’re getting ready for bed, I pull Derrick to the side.

“Did you have fun? You and Jude talked a long time.”

“I’m glad I got to meet him. He gave me some tips on what he did when Alex got FOS. Apparently, he was the one who donated pheromones for her treatment. It was nice to talk to someone who’s been there. Of course, we spent most of the time bragging about how wonderful our Omegas are.”

He sweeps me up in his arms and tosses me onto the bed. Grant and Ivan are already stretched out, the latter of whom started snoring as soon as his head hit the pillow.

“Get some sleep, sweetie. Tomorrow is going to be interesting.”
