“People who do drugs.”
I shake my head. “I didn’t mean for that to sound any type of way.”
“Don’t worry about it.”
“When is it?” I ask, referring to the fundraiser.
“Couple weeks, I think. I’m waiting for her to give me all the details. She told me and Sebastian to bring a guest. I’m not interested in having one of the guys by my side all night if I can have you there.”
Okay. That makes sense. I’m not opposed to going or supporting the cause. Nor am I going to give up a chance to be around him for a couple of hours.
“I’m down. It’s a deal.”
His brows raise. “Seriously?”
“You think I’d give up having a yoga buddy? It can get lonely, you know. Having sessions all by myself. Plus, I’m kinda looking forward to you busting your ass.”
I’m getting on his case, riling him up for no real reason other than wanting to talk more. One of my favorite things about yoga is that people don’t bother me. It’s quiet and stress free. I wouldn’t mind including him though.
“Give me your phone,” he says, releasing his hold on my hand finally.
“Why?”
“Just let me have it.”
I reach down to grab it off the floor. I exit out of my music app and hand it over.
He types his number in, then another phone—his—beeps from his pocket. He hands my cell back. “For emergencies only.”
“What counts as an emergency exactly?”
His smirk evokes a carnival of excitement in my belly. Even more so when he reaches out and hooks his finger into the elastic of the top of my leggings. He pulls the material away from myquivering skin. I keep my feet rooted to the floor, despite how much they want to waver and fling my body into him.
“You needing help out of these,” he wiggles his finger in my band before slipping my phone in its place, “would be one hell of an emergency.”

COLSON
Sebastian: A little birdy tells me you and Violet are hanging out a lot.
Colson: No more than two friends would.
Sebastian: When are you going to make it official?
Colson: Make what official?
Sebastian: Come on, man. You haven’t been that dumb since that time you thought you could spin in circles for a full minute then jump on the trampoline without falling on your face.
Sebastian: All jokes aside. She’s a good person, dude. Don’t string her along. Webber did that shit enough.
Sebastian: So, when you finally do pull the trigger on that, don’t fuck it up.
When I sayViolet’s workout attire is my new favorite color, I mean it. No really. It’s my goddamnfavorite. Not quite soft enough to match her name, the stretchy material takes on the shade of a lavender plant blowing in the breeze. Which brings me to her body. It bends just as gracefully, and when she sticks her ass up in the air, I can’t help but stare because I see everything. The sexy curves below her butt cheeks. The definitive lines of what I’m pretty sure are her pussy lips.
I should be ashamed, but I’m not.
I should look away, but I can’t.
