Hours passed, not another word from Teddy or his minions. I couldn’t stop thinking about whatever horrible things they could be doing to Delaney. Painful thoughts raced through my mind as guilt raged and anger burned through my veins.
I’ll find each one of them and I’ll rip off their fingers, one by one.
“Uh sir, I think I got something here.” Enzo had been searchingthrough CCTV systems in nearby businesses for any footage that he could use to get a location on Delaney before it was too late.
“I was able to access the Griffith Park digital surveillance. I saw the vehicle had the same description as the one that Delaney was taken in and saw it pull into a private garage. The house looks to be pretty run down, which would make sense if they were trying to be discreet. It’s not certain she is there but it’s worth a shot.” He finished with a hopeful look on his face.
“Get everyone together, we leave in ten,” I snapped through gritted teeth. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on that piece of shit. I was deep in thought, plotting out exactly what I would do once I did.
Another ding from my cell and another message came through, breaking me from the serenity of the revenge I was envisioning.
“How certain are you, on a scale of 1-10, that Delaney is at that address?” Enzo turned and looked at me with pure uncertainty. He thought for a minute and then answered with confidence.
“8/10, sir. It’s likely she is there.” I nodded in approval.
“I want half of our men at that address and the other half will come with me to meet Teddy. He’s sent his list of demands so I’ve got to go meet with my crew at the club.”
Enzo gave me a curious look and nodded. He knew better than to question me right now.

I stormed into Miss Lynn’s office, the door bouncing off the wall on impact. She jumped from her chair.
“Holy shit Dallas, what the fuck?!” She screamed as her hand flew to her chest.
“I need you to get me some important paperwork together. I alsoneed some falsified paperwork, it just needs to look legit at first glance.”
She was confused and frankly so was I. All I knew was I needed to fucking take that piece of shit down – once and for all. It was fine when he was coming after just me, that’s something I can live with, but this? I couldn’t just let this go. I needed to make sure he could never hurt Delaney or any other member of thisincrediblefamily we’ve built, ever again.
I don’t know what his vendetta is but this whole thing stops today.
“Listen, Teddy took Delaney and is now threatening unthinkable things if I don’t sign over my businesses to him. Draw up the papers, make them look as legit as you can. I’ll handle the rest.”
Miss Lynn is good at her job and she is one of the sharpest women I know. She’s got so many certifications and degrees I can’t even keep up with them all. I have no doubt she will handle this assignment thoroughly so I left her to handle the details while I followed up with Enzo.

Walking into the wine cellar, I found the team exactly where I thought I would, in the hidden room behind our vintage Cristal and Caymus wine cellar, stocked with the finest champagne and wine for some of the higher status clients. I had a secret vault built in when the architect designed the place. I also stocked it with fire arms and ammo and other weapons. Doubling as a wine cellar, it was the perfect facade for storing our weapons, if we ever needed to throw down.
“Ready to do this?” I questioned the group of men all standing with Enzo, now staring me down with ferocity.
I knew them all because I hand picked them for the security teamwhen I first started my club. I had way more help than I needed and I had to reassign some of them to other locations.
“You have it all sorted out, I assume?” I snapped, throwing my gaze across the room, making eye contact with each person.
“Yes sir, Jackson, Noah, Miguel and Trevor are going to the abandoned house downtown and the rest will follow your direction.” He finished with a nod.
“Perfect, let’s go get my girl.”
Where are you kitten?
Delaney
On the sofa with my knees to my chest unsure of exactly how much time had passed. I was scared that any second the man that has remained nameless would come in and try somethingagain.
The last time he came into this room he sat next to me and tried to peek down my shirt. I hit him so hard in the nose, I thought he was going to retaliate but instead he just hit the wall, cracking the drywall straight down the middle then stormed off screaming obscenities on his way out.
