“Sending it right over, sir.”
My phone pinged seconds later.

“Mr. Kingston. I’ve been expecting your call.” He cooed through the phone when he answered on the first ring. I could hear the edge in his voice even though he tried to cover it up.
“Well, you’ve got my attention, now what can I do for you Mr. Bishop?” I asked sarcastically.
He breathed into the phone. He was an out of shape, very round man. In high school, he suffered from chronic asthma and the other kids bullied him for it.
“What a strange thing to say, Mr. Kingston, such a loaded question, and one that I feel you might already have the answer for.” He said matter-of-factly.
“Why don’t you refresh my memory, I seem to have forgotten.” I had no idea what the hell he was speaking of, but he seemed to be sure there was some sort of conflict between us.
“I’d rather ruin you instead.” He snapped.
“Kind of presumptuous aren’t we?” I taunted him.
“I will not stop until I have stripped you of everything, your fortune, your family and eventually your life.” He snarled through the receiver.
“Is that right?”
“You’re done!” He screamed, completely losing any control he was obviously fighting to hold on to and then the line clicked on the other end.
“Well…” I said in Jacobs direction. “That phone call just clarified two things. One, I did the right thing in having Delaney come stay with me, and two, this is going to be fun.” I chuckled, shaking my head and sitting back in my chair.
“What’s the plan boss?” He asked, rubbing his hands together, eagerly waiting for my response.
I took a deep breath letting it out in a sigh as I steepled my fingers under my chin. “We wait for him to make good on his threats.”
I picked up the telephone receiver, “I need security stationed at my parents, my brother and my sisters’ home. They need to be followed at all times. Do not be seen and do not speak to them. I want a very discreet detail. I want to be updated every hour through text. Shouldthere be a problem, a phone call is acceptable.” I barked down the line. I didn’t wait for a response before I cut the call.
Better safe than sorry. You can’t be too sure when someone is as unhinged as Teddy is right now, and since I have no idea what he wants revenge for, I need to take precautions.

I sat back against my chair gripping the armrest and smirking, only this time for a different reason. I picked up my cell and sent a quick text. I needed to pick myself up after the way the morning started.
Hello sweetheart,
I am expecting you in the playroom at 6:00 p.m.
I waited to see what her response would be. I watched as the bubbles popped up and then disappeared three times before two words showed across my screen. Two words that made my cock twitch.
Yes, Daddy.
I hissed and adjusted myself, forgetting Jacob’s nosy ass was staring at me. “Fuck off.” I snapped with a grin.
“Hey now, I’m just happy to be here.” He said with his hands raised in surrender, before he plopped in the chair in front of my desk.
I look forward to peeling this off of you…
Delaney
This place ishuge. There were rooms and bathrooms everywhere. And each floor was dedicated to something specific. His home gym, that was impressive. It was bigger than some of these corporate gyms I’ve visited, not that I’m much of a gym rat but I probably should start if I had a chance of keeping up with him for the next thirty days. I giggled to myself at the thought.
As I walked around aimlessly, I couldn’t help but notice all of the baseball memorabilia. In the photo was a young man with a number 12 jersey on. There were several team photos and tons of solo photos. I assumed it was Dallas. Whoever it was, they were young and probably were taken before tattoos would have even been legal for him, at least in some of them. The guy in all the photos was handsome, very handsome. He had hazel eyes, brown hair, and a smile that could melt you into nothing, but the longer I stood staring into one photo in particular the more familiar he seemed to me. This photo he was a bit older, maybe in college, I felt like I had seen him before…
