I scrambled to do as I was told, settling quickly into position.

“The most important thing you can do on this earth is breathe.”

I peered up at him as he slowly walked in a wide circle around my board. He wasn’t looking at me. He seemed to have slipped into the role of instructor.

“Close your eyes, Finn. Listen to my voice and follow my instructions.”

“Okay, no problem. I can totally?—”

“Withoutspeaking. No talking, Finn. Pay attention.”

I closed my mouth with a snap and nodded, slamming my eyes shut and doing my best to listen.

“As I was saying. Your breath. It’s the most important thing. Not just in yoga but when you’re in the water, too. Staying connected with your breath is the best way to ensure you’re setting yourself up for success.

“Breathing properly means you’re present.

“It means you’re locked in.Focused.

“On a more physical note, breathing properly gives your body the correct amount of oxygen it needs to perform incredible tasks… because that’s what you’re doing, Finn. You’re asking your body to do something incredible.”

His words washed over me, and I found myself centering in an oddly peaceful way.

I focused on my breath, and the tension that sang through my muscles melted away. The sense of urgency that always plagued my mind seemed to fade into nothing.

That insistent voice that was always in my head screaming at me togo, go, go,quieted, and it was Riddick’s voice that took over, freeing me from the oppressive cage of my own thoughts.

“Breathing, Finn, means that you’realive.”

He was closer to me now, his voice rumbling near my right ear.

“I want you tofeelevery inhale. Imagine the lungs in your chest filling with that life-giving oxygen. Feel that breath spread through yourentire body. It’s nourishing your blood cells, healing your muscle tissue, and giving you the ability to think. To live. Toexist.”

My whole body was lighting up from the inside. Every inhale I took gave me a rush of energy, while every exhale relaxed me.

“Good, Finn,” He whispered, his words of praise nearly lost in the distant crash of waves. I shivered and swallowed, doing my best not to let him see how much my body wanted to react to the praise.

I wantedmore.

I wanted him to always think I was doing good.

“Get on your hands and knees.” He hummed, and my eyes flew open. I peeked up at him, shocked by his demand. He met my gaze without flinching and raised an eyebrow.

Without looking away from him, I slowly unfolded myself and did what he said. My cock was swiftly filling with blood, and by the time I was on all fours, I was fully hard in my swim trunks. Thankfully, Riddick didn’t seem to notice what was happening between my legs. He’d gone back to pacing slow circles around me as I waited for him to tell me what to do next.

“You’re going to do a few rounds of cat and cow. On your next inhale, I want you to arch your back.”

Jesus Christ… this was… Was this really what yoga was?!

“Inhale…”

I took a deep breath and arched, pretending I couldn’t feel my ass cheeks separate from the movement.

I couldn’t see him. He was standing directly behind me, and my cock throbbed.

Was he looking at me?

I twisted to look back at him, but he tutted his tongue.
