Before either of us could get mushy about it, I left.
Diesel, as I suspected, waited for me outside in the hall. “Hey.”
“What are you up to? A little light stalking?” I asked, joking with him.
His mouth quirked into a salacious grin. “Nah, I leave that to Void.”
No shit. He was a hell of a hacker. I knew he had cameras all over the town, including the clubhouse and outside the house we shared. I was still pissed for finding out he had cameras in my room.
“Ha.”
He lifted a hand and tucked a loose strand of my hair behind my ear. “There’s a party tonight.”
“I know. Hades said I should come.”
He blinked in surprise. “Good. You want me to pick you up?”
“I’ll probably ride with Void, but thanks.” It made sense that we’d carpool since we lived together. Besides, I wouldn’t have to worry about driving or wrecking my car.
“Then I’ll see you later, beautiful.”
“Yeah, you will,” I promised, hoping he loosened up a bit and maybe we’d both finally see if this attraction between us had any substance.
ABOUT TWO HOURS BEFOREthe party, I realized I couldn’t go with Void because I was still pissed at him. He never apologized for putting those damn cameras in my room without permission. Now I had to figure out transportation.
It seemed desperate to contact Diesel, so I dialed Revenant’s number.
He answered on the second ring. “Hey, B. B.”
The nickname began years ago, but I never knew what it meant, and Revenant refused to tell me. He seemed amused by it when I tried, so I stopped asking him to explain it.
“You going to the clubhouse tonight?”
“Yeah. You need a ride?”
I could hear the tattoo gun and knew he was working. “Please. I don’t want to go with Void.”
“Hell, you should have said that first,” he laughed. “I’ll swing by once I finish this customer’s ink.”
“Thanks, Rev.”
He ended the call, and I walked to my closet, trying to find an outfit that fit both my mood and the possible excitement for tonight. I waited long enough to find out if Revenant or Diesel would make a move. Maybe if I kissed them first, the guys wouldn’t be able to resist me.
I had a feeling they hesitated because of Hades. Earlier today, he told me to go after what I wanted, and right now, that was Revenant and Diesel.
Void could kiss my ass.
An hour later, I was finishing up my hair and makeup, fresh out of the shower, and already dressed. It didn’t surprise me that Void entered my room, assuming I was leaving with him.
His gaze slithered over me as he entered, widened, and then he scowled. “What the fuck are you wearing?”
I’d chosen one of my favorite black leather corsets that barely concealed my breasts, cinched at my waist, and showed off the ink on my bare shoulders. Black boots that reached my knees with a sexy heel. And then a skirt made of black tulle and ruffled layers with a split up the side that nearly reached my hip. It made me feel daring, beautiful, and irresistible.
“Why do you care?” I asked, picking up the black choker I’d chosen to complete the outfit.
“Becca.”
“No, Void. You lost the ability to say shit to me when you chose to violate my trust.”
