“That’s right, motherfucker, you don’t.” Ace snarled. “’Cause she’s not.”

Where the fuck is she?

Ace pointed to the prospects. “Get them the fuck outta here.”

Joker walked out, and Oak grabbed one of the others by the back of the neck, dragging him to the back door. There would be a discussion on their punishment and if they’d be stripped of the prospect patch. But they were the least of his worries. Wraith stalked to Ace, waiting on the outside door to slam.

“What the fuck is going on?” Wraith demanded.

Ace turned, his deep scowl locked in place.

“Where is Cleo?” Wraith’s muscles contracted, and his temple pulsed with his blood rushing through his veins.

Gent laughed. “It seems your little house mouse likes to gamble. Among other things.”

Ace narrowed his gaze, glaring at Gent. “Do you ever shut the fuck up?”

Gent grinned. “No.”

Wraith ignored the banter between his president and brother, and ambled forward.

“What the fuck’s going on, Ace?”

He sighed, sharing a look with Cross. “Got a call from the poker house. Cleo showed up with Reyna.”

Wraith stilled, unsure he’d heard his president correctly.Reyna? From the motel?None of this made sense.

“Since when does she hang out with the whores?”

Cypher lifted his hand. It was meant to calm him down but had the opposite effect.

“When?” he snapped.

“Generally speaking, she doesn’t. Most follow the rules andstay away from Cleo. But there’s a few that I’ve seen her talk to. Reyna’s one of them.”

It was nearly impossible to piece this scenario together. Wraith grasped his hips and deepened his scowl.

“So, Reyna’s working outside the motel and bringing Cleo with her? Is that what you’re telling me?”

I’m gonna fucking kill someone.

Cypher shared a look with Ace. “Not exactly.”

Wraith ground his teeth. “Then tell meexactlyhow it fucking is.”

Wraith was seconds from losing his patience if he didn’t get clear answers soon.

“According to Dante, she came in with Reyna, who is a regular at the poker house. They were meeting up with—” Cypher hesitated, glancing over at Ace.

“With who?” Wraith snapped.

“Meeting up with two guys.”

“Yeah, brother,” Gent said, smirking. “Our little Cleo had a date tonight.”

A fiery rage shot through his veins.

“Kids. They grow up so fast.” Gent’s taunting was only intensifying Wraith’s anger.
