“Everything you say makes me wonder if you’re real,” she grumbled as her lidded gaze fell on my feeder in her hands. “You make me want to forget everything and just accept what you’re saying.”

“I am real, Viola.”

“I want to...” she mumbled, closing her eyes as she inhaled deeply. “Believe me. I really do.”

As she pressed my fuchsia and teal colored petal harder against her face, she let out a loud, throaty moan.

Even though I was desperate to know what she thought of me, my mouth dropped open as words caught in my throat. I was taken aback by her sudden reaction to my scent, because female Calyzis never acted this way around theirluwaeri.

Was it because they were accustomed to their mate’s scent and the pheromones they naturally emitted?

“Oh, I can’t believe how good your feeder smells,” she groaned, taking another deep breath and letting out another moan. “There’s no way this isn’t edible. You have a deliciously complex multi-layered autumn scented bow that smells like pumpkin spice, caramel apples, and warm vanilla.”

“What are those?”

Whatever they were, I was both envious that she desired such items and proud of myself for eliciting such a reaction from her before we officially sealed our bond. Deep down, I knew it wouldn’t matter because once she tasted my nectar, she’d only make the sounds of desire that I gave her.

Her eyelids slid open as she locked her confused gaze on me, her pupils blown wide, their color dark like the richest soil.

“Do you have any idea what any of those are?”

“Should I?” I shook my head, unable to recall anything from thenamesshe had said. “Do I need to buy such things to please you?”

“No, not at all.” She shook her head, but her eyes were still filled with confusion. “They’re just my favorite foods, but I’ve never found anything that combines all three in such a way.”

“I’m biologically designed to appear, smell, and taste pleasing to you, myluwaeri.”

“Somehow, I believe it.” She took another deep breath and growled as her eyes rolled back in her head. “I’m curious if you taste as divine as you smell.”

My eyes widened as I felt my instincts kick in and a flood of nectar rushed from my torso, sending tingles down my spine as it pumped through my vine into its feeder.

Never before had I felt the need to provide for another in such a way, nor had anyone ever described how erotic it felt to watch myluwaeritake from me. Every draw she took sent an electric shock through me, nearly knocking me to my knees. Each one was more powerful than the last, followed by her moans of pleasure.

Myblavjumped to life, hardening beneath my waist brush in an attempt to attract ourluwaeri’sattention. My body sensed she was ours and urged me to plant our seed in her, tying us together forever.

She was making me struggle to stay grounded and not throw her onto her bed, so we could celebrate our gift from the Mother Tree.

The only thing I could do was watch her feed from me while drinking my nectar. It was already a struggle to stay still and on my feet. I was afraid that if I moved, I’d ruin the moment by knocking her out of her feeding trance. I wouldn’t be able to prevent myself from begging her to let me seed her.

Not only that, but I’d like to finish mapping out her body with my vines, etching it in my memory, by using my dippers to find the best places to plant myblav.

I couldn’t take the short distance between us anymore; I needed to be closer to myluwaeri. My feet led me to her side, and I raised my hand to gently comb back her fine, colorful hair, hoping to comfort her as she drank my nectar.

As she continued to draw nectar from its source, her eyelids fluttered open and her unfocused gaze peered at the ceiling. Her brow furrowed, and her gaze was drawn to my outstretched arm. She gasped as she yanked my feeder from her lips, noticing our close proximity.

“Have you always been this close to me?” She licked the glistening remnants of nectar from her lips while staring at me.

“No, I moved closer to you just now,” I said calmly, watching her reaction as I brushed her hair, surprised at how soft it was. “You’ve awoken something within me that I’m no longer able to fully control. My body longs to be near you, to be in you, to provide your body with everything it requires.”

“How long have I beendrinking?” Her eyes widened as she made a startled noise and quickly covered her mouth. “Don’t tell me I zoned out while drinking your nectar.”

“There’s nothing to be ashamed of,” I reassured, brushing her hair away from her face. “It’s well-known for its calming properties.”

“Calming, huh?”

“What could be more soothing than being fed by the one who adores and cherishes you?”

“Adores and cherishes?” She cocked her brow. “That’s a big statement, especially since we just met.”
