The contrast is shattering.
It drives ecstasy through me, relentless and unavoidable.
I am whining and whimpering, writhing in the water.
But I never want this feeling to stop.
It feels as destined as our fate.
Cold shadows wind underneath the black water. They feather over my ass. My skin prickles, as the shadows lightly slap me. I push myself toward them, asking for more. Then they curl to trace over my tight bud, which unfurls in welcome.
My cheeks flush.
“I’m almost…almost…” I whisper.
“Me too, love.” Daire kisses me, and I taste his blood.
The same blood that Lanlin drank last blood.
The thought is enough to push me over the edge.
Pleasure hits me like something snapping inside but also, being created at the same time.
I turn my head, deliberately latching my teeth lightly over Lanlin’s bite on Daire’s neck.
Daire reacts like I have justknottedhim.
He stiffens, screams, and comes.
Then he breathes heavily, slowly coming down from a high, which I am riding as well.
I give the bite a final satisfied lick just to see him shiver again.
“You wolfie vampire.” Daire chuckles.
His chest rapidly rises and falls.
“What can I say? The Bloods have some good ideas.” I lick him again.
Unexpectedly, Aurelius’ voice drifts like smoke into my mind, much softer and more loving in its dragon form.
Are you together, my fire and frost?
Daire startles at the same time as I do.
“You heard that, aye?” Daire mutters. “You didn’t fuck my brains out literally?”
“Yeah, I did. You know who is taking a risk by contacting us. Also, shouldn’t I be the one asking you that?”
He looks smug.
So much for being able to enjoy the afterglow.
I have been hiding at night, while flying during the day and trying to avoid vigilante Shadow Humans because I thought that you were about to die. And instead, you’re fucking…?Aurelius demands.
Daire and I exchange a glance.
Do we tell him that Lanlin in fact saved Daire?
