“Taking a picture of my beautiful boyfriend.” Jamie murmured against Tyler’s neck, his mustache leaving Tyler’s skin tingling in its wake. “You feel good on me, baby.”

Baby. Fuck.

Tyler felt his skin flush as he shifted, standing and turning to straddle Jamie’s lap. “Baby?”

Jamie looked up at him with unguarded wanting. “Is that okay?”

“More than okay,” Tyler whispered, and then threaded his fingers through Jamie’s hair and leaned forward, kissing the tip of Jamie’s nose. “Now take your picture, Jamie.”

Tyler’s gaze roved freely over Jamie’s face, cataloguing each feature. Jamie must have taken the picture at some point. His fingers trailed down Tyler’s spine.

Tyler gave Jamie’s nose one more kiss. “I really need to get back to work now,” he said, wishing he could stay in the cramped office with his legs splayed over Jamie’s lap.

“Wait,” Jamie commanded. “One more for the road,” he said and then he kissed him.

Tyler melted into the kiss, letting his limbs go slack because he knew he was safe in Jamie’s arms. Jamie had him–tongue curling around his, hands sturdy on his waist, lips firm and wet andthere.

Slowly, Jamie drew back, letting out a low, contented hum. “Better now,” he murmured.

Tyler climbed off reluctantly, giving Jamie space as he tied his sweatshirt around his waist, the long part hanging over the stained crotch of his pants.

Tyler let out a loud laugh. “You look ridiculous.”

Jamie shot him an unimpressed look. “And whose fault is that?”

“Yours. It’s definitely yours.”

Jamie bit back a smile as he walked to the door, holding it open for Tyler and placing a hand on his lower back as he passed by.

They walked down the hallway in silence. Tyler wasn’t entirely sure what to say. It had been so long since he’d been in a relationship, and he felt out of practice. “Thanks for coming by,” he said.

Rather than answering, Jamie gathered him close and kissed the top of his head. “Of course. When I have the time, I’ll always be happy to give it to you.”

When they walked out into the club, Tyler steered them around the back edge of the room, hoping to escape the notice of the patrons.

He’d forgotten about Handsy Dan.

The older man clocked them immediately. Tyler watched him out of the corner of his eye, and for the first time he wished he were bigger than Jamie, that his body was large enough to shieldhimfrom Dan’s penetrating stare.

Tyler put a bit of distance between them, like that would somehow negate the fact that they’d very clearly walked out of the back hallway together.

Fuck.

Jamie’s hand on his back distracted him, his solid, warmpresence reminding Tyler that there was a man right there beside him who cared for him and wanted him and called him his.

Thatwas what mattered.

Jamie paused at the door, waving as he left Tyler standing at the bar.

Tyler waved back, and then immediately felt embarrassed. Jamie smiled, and then he was gone.

“Oh. My. God.”

Tyler glared at the bartender, Tessa, who was doing a terrible job holding in her laughter. “Shut it.”

“You just got it on in the back office with that hot as fuck man. You legendary slut.”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Tyler said, turning away, but he couldn’t keep the smile from his face. “And the hot as fuck man? That’s my boyfriend.”
