“Yes!” Cary pumped his fist. “Who should we invite?”

‘Mer. Mer.’

“No, we don’t need to invite Michael,” Cary replied to the cat. He looked over at Atlas. “Michael is Luci’s asshole brother. I mean, he tries to be nice now but he’s kind of an asshole still.”

Bel laughed. “Most angels are.”

Damn, Atlas cut his eyes to Lucifer to see what he thought about Cary’s words about his family.

Lucifer was clearly amused. “He is trying to be friends with you. It doesn’t help that anytime he is at our house, he has to dodge sharp kitty claws.”

‘Mer.’ Gage sounded proud.

“There are so many people who will want to meet you!” Cary bounced on the couch.

“No!” Bel said sharply. “You are not in charge of the guest list.”

“But—” Cary pushed his bottom lip out as his pretty green eyes turned watery.

Bel stiffened.

Atlas laughed and elbowed Bel. “This is who needed the popcorn and Slurpees?”

Groaning, Bel nodded. “You see it, right? That sad look?”

No wonder Bel hadn’t been able to refuse. “Yeah.”

Cary giggled. “Bel is so good to us. He’s always running crazy errands and only complains a little. Much less than most of the other demons.”

“You’re still not in charge of invitations,” Bel tried to sound stern.

Atlas patted his knee. He didn’t think that Bel was going to win this argument.

“We have to invite Asmos,” Cary said.

“No, we don’t,” Bel replied quickly.

“He’s your best friend!” Cary claimed. “He has to be there!”

Bel did not look like he agreed.

“And Adam and Mal. Seb and Ash. Atom and Ari. Who else?” Cary asked.

“That sounds like enough,” Bel told him. “We don’t want to overwhelm Atlas.”

“But he needs friends!” Cary argued.

Atlas did kind of need friends. Making friends in the hell realm was cool and all, even if Atlas might never see them again.

“What about Dean and Logan?” Lucifer questioned.

“I called Dean. I’m just not sure about him bringing his mate, as the flickers do harm my…uh, Atlas. Dean promised to stop in when he could,” Bel explained.

“Ah, makes sense,” Lucifer said. “With Aaron’s vision, they think the pack might be in danger. He won’t want to leave the others, especially his mate and familiar.”

Cary pouted. “We really need to fix this flicker thing. Atlas should have all the friends. How can we take him to meet the pack?”

Atlas appreciated Cary’s enthusiasm.
