Hands caressed her back. She kissed across his chest, up his neck and to his mouth. This was familiar territory and a great place to start. Theo joined in, and her whole body came to life as their mouths mated and danced. More. She wanted more.

Her courage grew, and her hands went on a journey of exploration over the broad muscles of her older, more buff husband. God, he felt amazing. As did his hands when they started their own travels, over her back, down to her butt, up her sides to palm her breasts through the thin material of her top. Need surged through her, and she whipped her shirt off, tossing it behind her.

The candlelight flickered, exposing Theo’s rapt expression as she knelt beside him, her hands still playing in the dusting of hair on his pecs that arrowed down his stomach, then disappeared inside his shorts. Had he changed down there also? Gotten bigger and stronger? Something was certainly getting bigger as she let her hands wander over the stretchy fabric.

“You’re going to kill me, pixie. It’s been a long time since that’s been stimulated by anything other than my own hand.”

“I haven’t done anything either.”

Emotions soared through her as they touched and kissed and caressed every inch. The last few pieces of fabric disappeared, and the sensations almost overwhelmed her. But she still wanted more. Wanted all of him.

“Please, Theo. I need you.”

Moving between her legs, he assaulted her mouth and dragged his hands down her body where they were so close to being connected in the most intimate of ways. Then, he stopped.

Her gaze flew to him as his face screwed up in pain. “I don’t have a condom.”

Did it matter? No. “We both haven’t had sex since each other and we’re married. It’s okay, Theo.”

“You’re sure?”

“My whole body has been turned off the last few years. Like I’ve been dead. I need you, Theo. Need you to bring me back to life. Please.”

As he thrust forward, he groaned. “My pleasure.”

“I’m leaving now, pixie,” the soft voice murmured in Chelsea’s ear. “I love you.”

Her eyes fluttered open as Theo pressed a kiss to her forehead. Reaching out, she brushed his hand.

“Hey,” was all she managed in her morning haze.

“How do you feel?”

“Amazing. Can we do that again?” Last night had been incredible.

He chuckled. “Three times wasn’t enough?”

“Never enough.” She reached up and pulled his head closer. “We have five years to make up for.”

“As much as I’d love to start now, I need to get to work.”

Her pout gave Jordan’s a run for her money. “Wait, what did you say to me when you first woke me up?”

Theo’s eyes gleamed. Heat crossed her face, and she glanced down. Had she heard him wrong?

“Oh, you mean when I said I love you?” His voice dripped his feelings.

“Yes, that.” A tear leaked out, streaking a path down her cheek.

“I do love you, pixie. I never stopped.”

Holding his face in her hands, she said, “I never stopped loving you either.”

“Good. Do you feel well enough to drive today?”

She tilted her head, wondering at the quick change in subject. “Um, yeah, I think so.”

“I know you wanted to check on what the workers did at the house. I thought maybe you could pick up a few more of your things while you’re there.”
