This time, when she leaned close, Lia didn’t push her away.

Erin’s mouth was hot and hungry as it moved against her own.

Never in her wildest dreams had Lia imagined something like this—Erin’s lips on hers, Erin’s tongue in her mouth, Erin’s hands gripping her hips hard and holding her close. It meant Lia had Erin backed against her hotel room door, the full length of her body pressed against Erin’s, and, oh, what a body it was.

Toned, lithe muscle. Small but perfect breasts—with hardened nipples already straining against the fabric of her shirt. Lia didn’t know where to start. But she did know that by the end of the night, she wanted to map every inch of Erin Finch with her hands or her mouth.

Lia started with Erin’s neck, trailing kisses over the smooth skin. Feeling a frantic pulse thrumming beneath her lips, Lia lingered, flicking her tongue over the skin there. Erin rewarded her with a moan, then tangled a hand in Lia’s hair, fingers gripping tight enough to smart, but also feeling so damn good.

Lia’s questing mouth reached Erin’s collarbones, and her hands skimmed Erin’s sides until she was cupping her breasts. Circling Erin’s nipples with her thumbs wasn’t enough—she needed them in her mouth.

Based on the way her back arched when Lia pulled down her shirt, baring her breasts to the cool night air, Erin needed that, too. Before leaning in, Lia allowed herself a moment to admire the sight of them as Erin’s chest heaved with laboured breaths; she committed it to memory. Insistent, Erin tugged at Lia’s head, guiding her toward a straining peak.

Well, Lia wasn’t going to deny her. Not when she wanted the same thing. She pressed barely there kisses around Erin’s areola, smirking when Erin groaned in frustration.

“Don’t tease.” Those fingers tightened further. “Or I’ll—”

As Lia finally took her nipple between her teeth, Erin cut off with a gasp.

“—fuck.”

Lia hummed in agreement. Swirling her tongue made Erin’s hips twitch against her stomach, no doubt seeking friction. She nudged Erin’s legs apart, slotting her thigh between them as she grazed the nipple with her teeth. Erin’s hips rocked—hard—before she froze.

“What’s wrong?” Lia lifted her head.

Erin’s face was scrunched in pain. “Sorry. That hurt my leg.”

“Oh, shit.” Trying to move away, to give Erin space, Lia was kept in place by Erin’s firm grip on her hips. “Maybe we should stop.”

“Or maybe we should move to the bedroom.” Slipping out from beneath Lia, Erin walked toward the large double bed, shirt bunched around her ribs.

Too lost in the sway of Erin’s hips, Lia didn’t move.

Erin turned once she reached the bed. “Have you changed your mind?” She tucked her thumbs into the waistband of her shorts and shimmied out of them. Seconds later, her shirt was shrugged over her head, leaving her bare. “Or are you coming over here?”

If Lia had thought Erin looked good before, it was nothing compared to seeing her with her hands on her hips and her head tilted to one side, fully naked with a challenge in her eyes.

Lia would have dropped to her knees and crawled over if Erin had asked her to.

In her haste, Lia nearly tripped over her own feet as she hurried to where Erin stood. Her dress wasn’t as easy to remove as Erin’s pyjamas, but soon the zipper was jerked low enough for her to push the silken material over her hips.

“Underwear off, too.” Erin settled herself against the pillows, watching as Lia yanked off her bra and stepped out of her underwear. “Good.”

The heat in Erin’s eyes was scorching; as her gaze ran across Lia’s body from head to toe, Lia was surprised she didn’t catch fire. Erin lingered at the apex of her thighs, where the evidence of her arousal was painted on her skin.

“Now, come here.”

Every fibre of Lia’s being wanted to obey, but she hesitated before climbing onto the bed. “I don’t want to hurt you.”

“You won’t.”

“But I just did.” Lia worried at her bottom lip. Maybe this hadn’t been such a good idea after all—but not for the reasons she’d originally feared. “Promise you’ll stop me if I do?”

Impatience had started to cross Erin’s features, but it softened at Lia’s words. “I did before, didn’t I? I promise. Now, come here before I start without you.”

The sight of Erin touching herself was likely to make Lia’s brain short-circuit and stop functioning altogether, so she hastened to obey. Stretching out beside Erin, Lia leaned in to kiss her, and they both sighed at the feeling of being skin-on-skin.
