Hungrily, Chance launches himself at my dick, pulling it from my boardshorts, and before I know it, he has me in his mouth, and he gives me one almighty suck, as if he could steal my soul with that one suck, it nearly has my knees buckling. Then I hear the pop of my dick falling from his lips as he turns to Heath, waiting for his next instruction.

“You did so well, you may now do the same to me,” Heath says. And I watch as Chance leans forward and pulls down the waistband of Heath’s pants and does the same thing to him, sucks his thick cock in his mouth. Heath groans and smirks at me as Chance falls off his dick. “He sucks well.”

“That he does.”

“Come here,” Heath says, calling me over. “Chance, suck both our dicks please until I tell you to stop.” And the next thing I know, Heath wraps his hand around my neck and pulls me into a kiss.

“So, tell me, did I miss anything the other night?” Sienna asks. It’s the night before the wedding, and we are all together celebrating Sienna’s last night as a single woman. She’s just spoiled all of us with gifts. I still can’t believe she got the watch that I’ve been lusting after all year, it’s too much, but I love her generous spirit. Even when she was married to doucheface, she was always generous.

“Not much happened.” Vanessa shrugs.

Lies all lies.

“Derrick, what about you?” Sienna asks. Damn her, me hooking up with Chance and Heath was something I wanted to take to the grave, and not because I’m embarrassed over the amazing sex the three of us had, and I mean, it was so frickenhot. Who knew Heath was such a domineering Daddy? He had Chance and I wrapped around his finger as he commanded us to please him. But I’m upset that I hooked up with Chance again after being so strong for so long.

“That was fun.” Chance smirks as we get into the waiting limousine.

“Tonight, doesn’t change things between us,” I warn him.

“Derrick, please.”

I shake my head. “I want to forget tonight ever happened with you.”

“Do you hate me that much?”

“I don’t hate you. I hate me.”

Silence falls between us. “I like you. Wish things could be different,” Chance says quietly.

“They can’t so …” After the night we had, I shouldn’t still be so angry but I am.

“I’m sorry, Derrick.”

I look over at him. “I know you are, but please let me go, Chance. The last guy that strung me along like you do, nearly killed me. He made me lose myself, and I almost did when I found out he was marrying someone else, a woman.”

“Shit, D, I …”

“I don’t want your pity. I’m sorry that you don’t feel comfortable coming out, and I get it, truly I do. But please don’t pull me into your orbit anymore.”

“My feelings for you are real, know that,” Chance tries to reassure me.

I nod. I understand where he is coming from. He has his own battles to work through, but they shouldn’t involve me.

“I don’t doubt you, Chance, but being your lover in secret is affecting my mental health. I see the signs, and I’m putting myself first. We can’t keep doing this.”

“I never want to hurt you, Derrick. You mean too much to me.”

“Friends? No benefits,” I add.

“Yes. Friends,” he says, giving me a small smile.

“Derrick,” Sienna calls my name again, pulling me from last night’s memories.

“Fine, Sienna. I hooked up with Chance again and one of the strippers. And I know that boy is no good for me because he is so far in the damn closet it’s not fucking funny. But I just can’t seem to stay away from him, okay?”

The room falls quiet at my outburst.

“I’m sorry, D.” Sienna reaches out and squeezes my hand. She and Stacey remember what I went through with my ex, it nearly killed me, and they know I’m smart enough not to put myself in that situation again, but …
