I nodded, loving the fact that he finally tried to let go of the tight leash he had.

"She's going to be okay. You know that in your heart. When you let her go out, it proves that you trust her."

Jamari nodded. "I trust her, and I know I need to do better. That's why I'm happy I have you with me to help and teach me."

My lips trembled, but I sucked it up. I hated that this pregnancy had turned me into a crybaby. "And I'm happy to be here."

Jamari and I shared a smile and resumed eating. I could admit that today was a good day. To know that I was pregnant with a little boy made me so joyful. Also, having the man I loved by my side was an added bonus. I felt blessed.

I hada glow about me that kept a smile on my brown-skinned face. Plus, I was happily in love with the man who was in my life. He brought joy to me. My baby bump is growing every week now. At one time, I couldn't see it, but now it was out there. As I stared at myself in the mirror, I smiled, hugging my baby bump. A presence I felt caused me to turn around with a huge grin. Jamari stood, leaning against the bathroom door with his hands buried in his pockets. He had a smirk on his face as he eyed me as if he wanted to eat me alive.

"You're beautiful," he complimented me, swiping his tongue across his bottom lip.

Jamari pushed off the door and came toward me with a purpose that had me rooted in place. He removed his hands from his pockets when he reached me, wrapping his arms around my waist and pulling me closer to him.

"You smell good, too. Damn, why didn't you tell me you were about to shower?"

I shrugged, leaning into him. "I knew if I did, we would've been in there for a long time."

Jamari smirked. "That's the point. Hurry and get dressed before I devour you."

I threw my head back and laughed, wrapping my arms around his neck. "Maybe I'd like that."

He lowered his head and pecked my lips. "I know you would. But remember, we have a whole day planned for the kids. They're excited about it too."

I pouted. "Fine. Just know you'd better handle your business later."

He tilted his head to the side. "Don't I always?"

I gave a slight nod and pulled away from him. "Now go away so that I can get dressed."

When I saw Jamari hesitating, I knew he wanted to handle his business now. I wouldn't mind at all. I knew we'd still be running behind schedule, but I wanted my man. He turned around, closed the bathroom door, and locked it.

Jamari removed his basketball shorts. "We've got to make this a quickie."

I giggled, biting down on my bottom lip as I eyed his impressive package. "You should tell yourself that."

He grunted and enveloped me in his arms before he lowered his head and kissed my lips. The kiss heated up in seconds while his hands roamed all over my body. Jamari heated me to the point that sweat glistened on my body. I shuddered as my pussy got wet with my juices. He groaned in my mouth and picked me up in his arms. All along, our tongues were still tangled together. I moaned in his mouth as he sat me on top of the countertop.

An hour later, we were finally on the road. A smile was etched on my face as I stared out the window. First, Jamari wanted togo to the arcade. I had no problems with that since I enjoyed playing video games. I could also get very competitive. I'd be the one trying to get as many points and tickets as possible before anyone else. I hoped Jamari and the kids were ready to get beaten badly by me.

Jamari reached out and caressed my thigh. The feeling of his hand on me felt good and comforting. I lifted my head and peered at him. He smirked and sent a wink. I ducked my head and stared out of the window again.

"Chy, I have a question," Rylie announced, leaning up in her seat.

"Okay. What's the question?" I hoped I'd be able to answer it properly.

"So, it's this boy that goes?—"

Jamari slammed on the brakes, causing us to scream. I held my stomach as I shot daggers at him.

"Jamari!" I screeched.

He whipped his head around so fast that I was surprised it didn't crack. "What boy?" he growled.

I pressed my lips together to keep from laughing. He couldn't be serious. I didn't know how this would go over now since he butted into the conversation. He didn't let his sister finish what she had to say. That was typical of Jamari.

"Never mind, we'll talk later," Rylie mumbled.
