“No, I’m halfway through washing my hair. There’s still conditioner in it. I can’t get out now.”
He just stared at her for a long moment. To her surprise his gaze didn’t go lower than her face.
Was that him being respectful? Or was it because he didn’t want to look?
Your mind is a mess, Arabella.
Then he nodded and closed the door.
Oh, thank goodness.
Then he disappeared from her eyesight. But he didn’t walk into the bedroom. Where did he go?
Suddenly, he appeared at the shower door again.
This time, though, he just wore boxers and in his hand was his shirt.
She didn’t know what to do or where to look. Could she stare? Should she not? Was it rude?
But he wasn’t covering himself. And, well, the man was a work of art. Smooth and muscular, she ran her gaze over his wide chest and down to his trim hips. He had an actual six-pack.
Wow.
Then her gaze dipped lower. She couldn’t help it.
The only guy she’d ever been with had been young and arrogant. He’d told her how gorgeous he was. He’d even liked to brag about the size of his dick.
Something that she’d thought was a bit weird.
But he hadn’t been anywhere as big as Kellan. At least from what she could make out behind his thin boxers. As she watched his dick grew thicker, firmer and pressed against the material of his boxers.
Dead.
She was dead.
“I think I feel light-headed,” she said, foolishly.
She’d completely forgotten how nutty these guys were when they thought she was ill or injured.
Kellan immediately opened the door to the shower and stepped in, wrapping his arm around her so she was pressed against him.
“This is why you shouldn’t be showering on your own,” he growled as he held her up off the floor. “You could have fallen and hit your head and died. What were you thinking?”
“Um, well, I was thinking that you’ve got the biggest dick I’ve ever seen in my life,” she blurted out.
He drew her away from his body, setting her back on her feet so he could gape down at her.
Yeah.
She couldn’t believe she’d just said that either. “Um you know, I got a bump on the head earlier?—”
“What?” he interrupted. “You hit your head?”
“Yes, and I think that’s why I’m saying crazy stuff. It’s the head bump.”
And again, she forgot how insane these guys were.
“You hit your head? Why the hell did Eli let you out of bed?” Kellan yelled.
