The way he worked his jaw, the gentle graze of a finger over his folds, created a symphony of highs that had Lucky rolling his hips, feeling the need build to an incredible height.

Ford lay beside him, murmuring soft words and stroking his hair, a hand teasing his cock, keeping the constant contact that intensified every touch from Chase.Eventually, those fingers slipped down, bracketing Chase’s tongue.

Lucky nodded in the hope that he wouldn’t stop.

A slow, long stroke ended with a fingertip dipping inside him, but retreated, leaving him wanting more.Ford toyed with Chase’s tongue, trailing where he’d been, coaxing Chase to delve deeper by holding the folds open.Chase played the game, licking at Ford’s fingers, occasionally stopping to suck one into his mouth.

Lucky didn’t know which way was up and nothing mattered but his alphas.Their scents gave him a head rush, their hands ghosting over his skin, voices encouraging him, teasing, torturing.

Ford kissed him hard and deep, sliding his finger into Lucky to the knuckle. He moaned loudly, Ford’s mouth muffling the sound while Chase grasped his hand and held on tight, fingers intertwining.

Breaking away, Chase sat up on his knees to slide closer. The second his fingers stroked him, Lucky nodded, his mind long gone.

“Alpha…please, please,” he rambled, and gasped as Chase slid his finger inside, right where Ford’s was, stretching, pushing Ford’s finger deeper.

Chase caught Ford by the neck and hauled him into a kiss that was slow but hungry, and sent Lucky careening headlong into an orgasm.

Ford

Sitting in the living room, an hour after their impromptu sex-fest, Ford stubbed his cigarette onto the ashtray, while Lucky finished dinner prep in the kitchen.Chase was folded into an armchair to read a book he insisted was important.

Clearing his throat, Ford dropped his feet from the coffee table and leaned over his knees.“Flower, will you get on your knees for me?”

Lucky emerged from the kitchen, drying his hands on a towel. He crossed the room, placed gentle hands on Ford’s shoulders, and sank to his knees.Like the sweet flower he was, he kissed Ford, like his request and Lucky’s response was natural. From how calm and relaxed he was, he didn’t even realise there might be another reason he was asking.

“If I knew it’d be that easy, I’d have asked ten minutes ago.”Chase set his book aside to enjoy the view, not that Ford could blame him.

While Lucky flipped off their mate, Ford nuzzled his nose.“That’s no way to treat your alpha. He’s working damned hard,” he scolded with a teasing wink.“Head down,” he commanded, waiting until Lucky rolled his eyes and dipped his head, bringing his hands to his face to cover his eyes.Ford laughed, glad he’d read the situation correctly. He reached into his shirt pocket. He’d been holding onto this gift for days, but this finally felt like the right time.“Congratulations.You earned this.”

Lucky’s fingers twitched, but he let Ford settle the chain around his neck and lifted his head with confusion.Chase dropped his feet to the floor, as Ford gathered Lucky’s hair and pulled the chain free.

“What is it?”Lucky turned the laminated lanyard to get a better look.

“Welcome to the ORT, Agent Darro.”

Gods, he’d never been more proud to say those words to a new agent. His heart had never fluttered like this.He adored the startled look in Lucky’s eyes.

Ford brushed at the long hair hanging down his back.“We ain’t never had anyone with the right skills to care for the kids and omegas we find.”

Lucky lifted his head and his eyes became soft with understanding.

“This ain’t ’cause you’re omega. This is ’cause you’re fucking perfect. You’re a natural with kids and Boss Lady agrees, after seeing you wi’ Pip.There ain’t no one else she’d trust like this.I only gave her your forms a few days ago and thought she’d take weeks to approve you, but you’ve shown your nature and there ain’t no reason to worry, now we got you.”

Lucky sniffed and his eyes welled with the threat of tears.“I was afraid Wynna was just being practical when she said I’d be a good leader, to take her place and let her retire.I thought she just wanted to keep the tradition of passing leadership to an omega.I was afraid she picked the logical choice—an omega mated to her son.”

Ford bent to kiss his forehead, wishing he’d noticed the weight he’d been carrying, but this proved Wynna wasn’t about to bow to nepotism.“Takin’ care o’ the victims we rescue is the most important job in the ORT,” he warned, hoping he understood this was a big decision.“I ain’t never met anyone who fit, but this is your chance to do what you love. You earned this.”

Though Lucky cried, overwhelmed and relieved, the look in his eyes could have kept Ford happy for years.

Chase

Chase had done his best to make this special and memorable, but only Lucky’s reaction would tell him if he’d succeeded.
