Viggo pulled him into his chest and kissed the top of his head. “You can set the pace, don’t worry. Whatever you want, we’ll leave it up to you.”
The elevator came to a stop and the doors opened, and Sebastian stepped into the lobby without responding to Viggo’s statement.
When they walked outside, the sidewalk was packed with people. Viggo and Bjorn took up positions on either side of Sebastian, with their hands on his neck and upper back, escorting him down the sidewalk like a pair of very touchy bodyguards.
When they reached the Jeep, Sebastian bid them a reluctant goodbye. He opened the driver-side door, about to climb behind the wheel, and hesitated.
“Can I…” he trailed off, looking embarrassed.
“What?” Bjorn asked. He took a small step forward, crowding into Sebastian’s space, cupping his face. Viggo hung back, just as curious as Bjorn but letting his husband take the lead.
“Kiss you?”
Bjorn looked like he’d been hit over the head with a log. Without saying a word, he grabbed Sebastian by the back of the head and bent down to press their lips together.
Cock stirring in his jeans, Viggo watched and waited for his turn. When Bjorn didn’t let up, licking into Sebastian’s mouth like he was trying to fuck his throat, Viggo tapped his arm with a short growl.
“My turn,” he ordered. Bjorn jumped back, startled, stepping aside with a sheepish grimace.
“Got caught up,” he explained, his voice gruff but pleased.
Viggo took his place, crowding Sebastian back against the car door and reaching down to trace his mouth with his thumb. Still dazed from Bjorn’s kiss, Sebastian parted his lips and tried to suck Viggo’s thumb into his mouth. Viggo let him have it, tracing the top of his teeth with the pad of his thumb.
“You’re a good boy, aren’t you?” Viggo said, pulling his thumb back and lifting Sebastian’s chin.
Sebastian whimpered, breaths coming fast and shallow, staring up at Viggo in trembling anticipation. Leaning down, as gentle as he was able, Viggo tilted his head and pressed a kiss to his lips.
It was the exact opposite of how his wolf wanted him to kiss him, but Viggo was making a point, both to his wolf and to Sebastian.
After a brief moment, he pulled away, smirking at the moan that escaped Sebastian’s throat at the loss of contact.
“Thank you for last night and this morning, Sebastian. I look forward to seeing you again.” Viggo let go of Sebastian’s chin, squeezing his shoulder and stepping back.
Taking a deep breath, Sebastian swallowed and nodded.
“You, too,” he said, bringing his fingers up to touch his lips in an unconscious gesture. He turned to Bjorn. “And you, Bjorn. I’ll see you both tomorrow.”
“Tomorrow,” Bjorn rumbled.
Sebastian climbed behind the wheel and Viggo and Bjorn watched him drive away. Bjorn scowled, kissing Sebastian so passionately only making it harder to let him go, the expression making Viggo scoff.
“You’re the one who insisted we let him live on his own so that we could date him.”
Bjorn shot him a glare. “I didn’t say being a good person was fun, asshole.”
Viggo laughed. “Well, at least he’s eager to spend time with us. After yesterday, I was worried he’d want to back things off for a bit.”
“Me, too,” Bjorn agreed, his face turning pensive. “I would be sad if we scared him off.”
Viggo nodded his agreement. When he first took Sebastian home, he hadn’t seen him as anything more than a solution to a problem. Liking him as much as he did was unexpected but not unwelcome.
“Should we head home?” he asked, sick of moping and wanting to get on with his day. He still had a ton of work to do, and he wanted to spend some time with Bjorn, just the two of them.
Bjorn nodded. “Sure.”
Turning around, they headed back to the apartment. There were a bit too many people around for Viggo to fully relax and enjoy the walk – the crowd making him hyper aware of his surroundings – but it was still a nice day.
“Hey, isn’t that the guy from the bar?” Bjorn asked when they were almost home, nodding toward the other side of the street. Turning to look, Viggo frowned.
