His deep voice sent a shiver down Peter’s spine.
The room swayed. Tex’s body was rock hard, his muscular arm heavy and constricting over Peter’s shoulders, pinning him against his side. He was warm, the heat seeping into Peter’s skin, his scent rich and fragrant with sweat, pine, and leather. Peter closed his eyes and let himself be led. As they moved deeper into the house, his heart beat so fast it felt like it was going to pound right out of his chest.
Stars blinking in and out of his vision, his ears buzzing, Peter felt his unsteady legs give out on him. Before he had time to cry out in warning, the blinking stars exploded into white and he was slumping to the ground and into the comforting relief of unconsciousness.

Tex
Tex barely managed to catch the kid before he hit the floor. He hoisted him up into his arms and carried him into the living room where he deposited him on the couch.
Well, fuck. That hadn’t gone as planned.
Carver had insisted on staying away until Tex could explain that he wasn’t a monster set on ravaging Peter on sight, thinking that Tex would be the less scary of the two until they could explain, but it seemed they’d both underestimated just how terrified Peter would be.
Staring down at the unconscious form of his new omega, Tex couldn’t help but feel a sliver of guilt worm its way into his conscience.
The boy looked so innocent and helpless, his skin pale against the dark leather of the couch, his features pretty and delicate and a complete contrast to Tex’s own rugged good looks.
Tex’s cock pulsed against the seam of his jeans. He wanted to do bad things to this boy.
Crouching down, Tex put his hand on Peter’s cheek, cradling it and letting his thumb stroke over the plump curve of his lower lip. Peter’s mouth opened, and Tex only barely managed to stop himself from plunging his thumb into the inviting space.
Waking up with Tex’s thumb in his mouth wasn’t going to do anything to calm Peter down.
“Hey, wake up,” Tex said, voice gentle as he rubbed Peter’s cheek. “You don’t have to be scared. Nothing is going to happen unless you want it to.”
Tex could see the moment that Peter started to come back to himself. His body went stiff, and when he blinked his eyes open they were cautious and afraid.
Tex kept his hand where it was, the tips of his fingers gently massaging the space behind Peter’s ear.
“Did you hear me?” Tex asked, rocking back and observing Peter with his most sincere expression. “Nothing is going to happen to you that you don’t want.”
“What do you mean?”
“He means that we’re not going to fuck you before you give the green light,” Carver said from the door, startling both Tex and Peter.
Tex pushed down the instinct to sigh. Of all the times for Carver to be the growling alpha, this was not it.
“You’re not?” Peter asked, sitting up and hugging his knees to his chest. His voice was small.
“No. Obviously, we want that from you, but we’re not going to force you. Neither one of us has any interest in rape.”
Tex grit his teeth, annoyed at Carver’s blunt words, but he forced his face to relax and nodded.
“He’s telling the truth. Neither one of us is going to do anything without your permission.”
Peter didn’t say anything, looking between Tex and Carver warily. He had every reason to be afraid. Legally, Tex and Carverownedhim. There was nothing they couldn’t do if they wanted to, and there was nothing to stop them from giving their word and then breaking it.
Peter was completely at their mercy.
Tex hated how much he loved it.
“Are you hungry?” Carver asked, moving closer. Peter watched him, hyper-attentive to his every move, and after a few tense seconds he nodded.
“We ordered pizza, do you like that?” Tex asked, standing up and going to stand next to Carver.
Peter nodded, his stomach rumbling like the mention of food had woken it up.
