“Daniel.”
He huffed a laugh. As did I, but I hid it behind my hand by dropping my head into my palm and rubbing my forehead.
“You go first,” he offered.
“Did you tell Parker…”
“This isn’t the place for this conversation. Want to order some food?”
Memories of the last time we ordered food slammed into me as if it were a runaway train. My already half-hard cock stiffened in my jeans uncomfortably. This time, I gulped.
“That’s not a good idea,” I whispered.
He must have caught the meaning behind my words, or maybe the memories assaulted him as they did me. Whatever the case, his eyes dropped to my crotch and he…
“Fuck!” My growl turned into a moan as he adjusted himself, drawing my gaze to the tent in his khakis.
The door opened. Parker stood before the opening. His eyes bounced between Daniel and me, then they dropped from our faces to our groins and bounced back and forth a second time. A smirk bloomed on his face. He opened his mouth, but I didn’t think I could stomach whatever came out of his pie hole.
“Get your own fucking elevator,” I said as I punched the button, closing the doors in Parker’s face.
“Xander…”
“Not now.”
“But…”
I pushed Daniel against the elevator wall, my hand pressed over his thundering heart. “Not another word.”
He nodded. His Adam’s apple bobbed in his throat as he licked his lips. Lips I wanted to devour. Not kiss, de-fucking-vour. I wanted to lose myself in him until nothing else mattered in the world.
The elevator dinged. The door opened. Stepping away from Daniel, I shot a quick glance at the control panel before looking back at him as I stabbed the door-close button.
“That was…”
“I know it was your floor. Do you think I’m gonna talk about anything in your apartment when Parker Holt, my fucking team leader, knows where you live?”
He crossed his arms over his chest, gave me a look I couldn’t begin to describe, then shook his head no.
“Good. Now, keep your mouth shut until we get upstairs to my place.”
CHAPTER 14
DANIEL
The caveman routineturned me on even more. Which irked me. I usually hated it, but fuck me, the only thing keeping me from dropping to my knees and sucking him off was the security camera recording in the corner.
Instead of giving in to my urges, I spent the time between my floor and his drinking him in as if he were a tall, cool glass of water on a hot summer day. He wasn’t as tall as some of the guys on the team. He wasn’t as beefy as some of the guys on the team. But he was flexible, strong with endurance and stamina, the flex of which I’ve never seen. The short refractory period didn’t hurt either.
The staring contest between us grew hotter with every passing moment. By the time the elevator stopped, we were both breathing deep, damn near panting. Glancing at his cock, I was certain he was leaking so much that the spot on his pants that looked wet was actually precum. My mouth watered, thinking of how he felt on my tongue, in my mouth, his flavor bursting over my taste buds as he came down my throat.
Xander stepped toward me, stopping when the doors slid open. He turned, strode out of the elevator car and down the hall, never once looking back. I followed him, determined tofuck or fight, whichever got us out of this fucking stalemate we’d been in over the last couple of weeks.
Halfway down the hallway, he stopped, unlocked the door, pushed it open, then stood back so I could enter. I looked at him, really looked at him. The uncertainty I saw tugged at my heart. This could get bad. Terrible, really.
Throwing caution to the wind, I stepped inside. Fight or fuck. Given how rough we both got during sex already, I wasn’t sure if I could handle rage sex with him. I’d give it a go because rage fucking was hot with someonenotXander Madison. With him, it just might cause a nuclear winter afterward. Although, sex with him held the promise of that as it was.
The door slammed, but other than acknowledging its shutting, I paid it no mind. I wanted to get a feel for him, for what he liked, what he disliked, how he spent his free time. All the things that made Xander, well…Xander.
