After hearing Kojo and his mama discuss the real reason he was dealing with me, there was no reason for me to confront him when I clearly heard him say the truth. It was one less burden for me to care about, and I was happy I didn’t have to deal withKojo’s fake begging and pleading like he’d been doing over the phone.
“I swear if Murdock didn’t require a family to be partner, Juniper and her big headed baby wou--”
One minute Faheem was behind me holding me, next I saw his long leg kicking in the french doors that gave in easily to the force of his kick. I tried to grab Faheem’s arm, but he was too fast. Hearing Margret gasp and Kojo saying, “What the fuck,”I hurried in after Faheem. He lunged forward, grabbing Kojo up by the collar. He drug him across his wooden desk and held Kojo up.
“I’m calling the police!” Margret yelled at Faheem then turned to me with hate and fury in her voice. “Call off your hoodlum!”
“Shut yo old knock-kneed ass up. Yo fuckin’ voice is annoying as hell.” Faheem mugged Margret then he peered at Kojo with deadly intent. “Bitch ass nigga, so long as I’m black, you speak on my seed again, I’ma kill you where you stand. You talkin’ about my seed like she had a chance at having a normal size head. Look at her mama’s head.” Faheem’s ignorant ass turned him and Kojo in my direction. “You see how big her mama’s head is, my kids ain’t got a snowball chance in hell, but it’s okay ‘cause I love how big my wife’s head is.” Faheem winked at me, but I flipped his ass off. I couldn’t wait until we left. I was cussing his ass out. “But I’m the only nigga who can talk about it. You feel me”
“Yyye--”
“Nigga, is you fuckin’ pissin’ on yo self?” Faheem barked as he tossed Kojo back into his chair. “I can’t even beat yo pissy ass like I want to. Scary ass nigga.”
Sure enough, a puddle was forming under Kojo’s desk, and my jaw dropped. I knew that nasty ass nigga wasn’t that scared of Faheem. My baby daddy should have been light workfor a nigga Kojo’s size. Kojo was easily two of Faheem’s size, yet he had him pissing on himself. If I wasn’t done before, seeing him pee like a little scary ass kid was the biggest turn off I’d ever had in my life.
“This the type of shit you like, Juniper?” Faheem said, walking in my direction, mugging me.
“No!” I quickly replied, mugging him back. I didn’t know Kojo did stuff like that.
“I can’t fuckin’ tell. You shoulda been done with this nigga the last time I knocked his ass out. How you gonna run off with a nigga that can’t defend you unless pissin’ is supposed to save you?” Faheem stopped in front of me, bumping me slightly. He was looking at me like he wanted to fuck me up next, but I wasn’t backing down from him either. Finally, he grunted as he said, “Bring yo ass on before I leave you with the piss king.” He walked past me with an angry scowl.
Before I left, I turned to Kojo who was now being consoled by Margret. I couldn’t believe his ass was crying and carrying on the way he was. “I rather have a big head than to let another nigga make me pee on myself like a bitch. Matter fact, me or my baby’s heads ain’t even that big, and you and yo five-head-having-ass mammy can kiss our black asses. Marget, have fun playing in your sons piss.” I snickered, flipping them off, then hurrying in the direction Faheem went in.
Making it outside, I saw Faheem’s white Jaguar parked behind the red Infiniti truck I took.
“The fuck took you so long? You cleanin’ the nigga off?” Faheem spat as soon as I made it down the stairs.
“Eww, no.” I frowned at Faheem. He had to be slow to even suggest some nasty shit like that. “Where is Ryver?”
“In the car.” He nodded towards the car, and I wanted to knock the shit out of him for leaving my baby in the car alone.
“Nigga, you left her in the car by herself?” I angrily stomped over to the car. The closer I got, I saw a figure with their head down.
“She ain’t alone. Gee sitting with her. But gimmie them keys.”
“For what? I can drive back to your house.” I still wanted to stop at my job before I went back to his house. Ignoring the heated glare Faheem was giving me, I opened the back door to get a peek at my boo.
“I’m sayin’, lil mama, you think that will work?” I heard Gee’s voice as soon as I opened the door. Ryver looked at me then started back her gibberish as if she was responding back to whatever Gee had said to her.
“Are you talking to Ryver?” I questioned him as I leaned over to kiss her chubby cheeks, and she let out a happy squeal.
“Yeah, she helpin’ her unc out,” Gee replied with a straight face as he opened his door.
“Oh, Lord.” I groaned, shaking my head at his crazy ass for even holding a conversation with a baby.
“Lil’ baby knowin’ what she talkin’ about.” Gee gave me a boyish grin showing off his platinum grill.
Time had done him good, and if I was into high yellow niggas, Gee would surely be my type. I didn’t know what he did to make Daelite walk away from him, but it had to be something crucial.
“You ridin’ with us, and Gee finna drive my other car back to the crib.” Faheem came out of nowhere, snatching his key hanging from my back pocket. As he tossed the key over to Gee, he asked him, “You straight?”
“I’m good. I’m finna take this shit on a spin though.” Gee caught the keys. Unlocking the car, he headed over, opening the driver door.
“Nigga, don’t be in my shit on bullshit.”
“I hear you, nigga.” Gee smirked before disappearing into the car.
“Bring yo ass, Juniper.” Faheem pulled my attention away from the headlights of his other car pulling off.
