"No," she whispered. "That's impossible. We would never do something like that."
"I know," Dumadi said. "But they have. And what's worse is that they're hybrids, half Leyak and half Sárkány."
The line crackled, silent for a moment. "No."
"I know. Even if you get past the fact that our kind should never want to procreate with the dragons, we don't create armies like that. It's simply not done."
The line cut out again, then came back, "...can I do to help you stop them? I can bring our armies there in a moment."
Dumadi looked back at Zander, who nodded once. "Prepare your armies. I'll be in touch in...?" He looked at Zander again.
Zander whispered, "Three."
"...Three days to coordinate things."
Three days. We had to get through three days before we could go in and save the rest of the babies. It was going to be the longest three days of my life. What was I going to find to fill my time?

As it turned out, it was extremely easy to fill my time. We were still locked down, so while Zander, Roan, and Doryu focused on mobilizing the Junta and Sárkány, I focused on Alex. Mrs. Grunst and I got to know one another, with her taking days and me nights.
Unfortunately, even with her on days, I still bugged her several times a day. There was only so much to do, even in a massive castle with an enormous library. I couldn't settle my mind enough to read, and TV didn't hold my attention either.
"He's asleep," I said grumpily as I plopped down on the couch in Zander's office. Roan was home for lunch and had the afternoon free, while Zander was meeting with the vampari about helping with the fight. Doryu was off with Riley and Axoular, outfitting the Sárkány with armor.
He grinned at me. "You need to exercise your body."
Oh, that was a definite tone of voice. He meant a specific type of exercise. "What did you have in mind?"
As he wiggled his eyebrows, he rolled back from the desk. "I imagine we could put this desk to good use and wear you out at the same time."
"You want to play bad cop and take me down?" I leaned over, biting my lip, and fluttering my eyelashes.
"Oh yeah," he said, his voice husky. "I want to do a lot of things to you right now."
I backed toward the door, giggling. "Only if you can catch me."
Of course, he caught me before I even got my hand on the doorknob. Hauling me up and over his shoulder, he took me to the desk.
He threw me down on the top, yanking up my skirt and teasing at my panties. "What a naughty girl you are, running away from me." He pulled them to the side and slipped two fingers into me. I gasped, arched up, and moaned.

"I don't care." I growled back, writhing under him. "Make yourself useful and fuck me properly."
When he ignored me, I threw my head back and just let myself be consumed by the sensation of him.
The door was thrown open a few minutes later, just as I was about to fall off of the side of the orgasm cliff. Zander and Doryu walked in, talking to one another and for a split second not registering the fact that Roan had his head between my legs.
They stopped short, a slow smile spreading across Zander's face. It widened when Roan didn't bother lifting his head from my sex.

Doryu sucked in a deep breath, drawing my gaze. I looked at them, unable to feel shame for the orgasm that crashed over me while they watched. It was the hottest thing I'd ever done in my life, coming while the two fully dressed men watched me.
