“Let me take a minute to freshen up,” I told him. I headed to our bedroom and went into the attached bathroom. I'd had a shower but hadn't bothered shaving my legs at the time. I hopped in the tub and made quick work of my legs and some of the stubble on the hoo-ha.

It was hard to focus on shaving, I was so turned on. I wanted to run out and attack Axoular, but I managed to keep myself in check and make everything pretty for our first time.

I walked out into the bedroom naked. I didn't have the patience for a negligee.

Axoular sat on the bed in his boxer briefs. When I walked out his nostrils flared and his eyes glowed red for a brief second. “You are the most beautiful creature,” he said.

I approached him slowly. We hadn't intended on spending our time in our bedroom, in case it took us a while and the guys wanted to go to bed, but there was no reason we couldn't make out like the teenagers we'd talked about.

He looked up at me as I moved between his legs, lowering my lips slowly down on his.

We spent a few moments like that, exploring each other's mouths, then I pulled back. I grabbed my robe from the back of the closet door. “Which guest room should we use?” I asked.

He walked over to the balcony and looked down at the pool. “There's nobody in the pool, and it's getting too late to expect any of the kids to go out there. I think we should go to the pool house.”

“Oh, okay.” Did he expect us to get that loud?

He probably heard the apprehension in my voice. “Just for the privacy,” he said.

“Whatever you want,” I said. Bonding with him was important to me, but to him it was everything. He was as excited as I probably would be on the day I wore a fancy dress and walked down an aisle toward him. Whatever he wanted was what he'd get.

He led me, hand in hand, down the stairs. We snuck past the kids watching a cartoon in the movie room and out the back doors that opened on the pool. The pool house wasn't huge, but it was a fully furnished apartment, with tile floors and lots of absorbent rugs so parties could happen in and out of the pool.

The bedroom and bathroom were one large, airy room, with floor-to-ceiling windows that had built-in shades on the inside. He lowered all the shades while I moved toward the bed, pulling back the blankets.

“Are there any words we should speak?” I asked.

“No,” he said. “If our love is real and pure, the bond will happen.”

I grinned. “Awesome.”

He joined me on the bed, laying down beside me. I quirked an eyebrow at his boxers, and he shed them. “You manscaped!” I said with delight.

Elias and Anthony always did, but I'd noticed before he'd gone all scaly the other night that his hair had been a little long.

“I don't know what that means,” he said, looking worried.

I giggled. “It means you trimmed the hair down there.”

“Oh, yeah of course. Isn't that what you were doing in the bathroom?” he asked as he untied my robe and looked at my neatly trimmed hair.

I nodded. “Do you like a woman to be completely shaved?”

“Honestly, Riley, I'm almost two hundred years old, and I've never met a woman that I was attracted to that I became turned off because she had hair or not.”

I burst out laughing. “So, basically, you don't care what I do with my hair?”

“That's right,” he said, running his hand over it.

He bent his head down and kissed me, pushing my robe over my shoulders. I arched forward and let it fall behind me while he sent tingles straight down.

I was in no mood for extensive foreplay. “I don't want to wait,” I said as he ran his tongue across my bottom lip.

He sat up, crossing his legs in front of him. “Okay, but first, I want you to find your Sárkány side.”

Oh, yeah. “Okay!” I sat up with him crossed my legs, too. “What do I do?”

“Close your eyes and find your fire.”
