These were just the kind of demons I’d been wanting to run into.

One more moment passed before my gaze met the first demon’s, another precious couple of seconds before it recognized me, and it’s eyes widened in horror. But before it could slow down, I launched a swirling mass of dark purple magic at it.

My power hit the demon, and it exploded before the magic shot outward to the other three. All four monsters were blown to pieces in seconds.

I dropped my hands as chunks of flesh rained around me, and my smile broadened. “Just another day in paradise.” Turning, I sang a slow song as I hurried toward the space in between Hell and Purgatory. A place that I could meet my angelic lovers.

Just ahead of me, the massive gate stood marking the end of Hell. And as I drew closer, the gate seemed to shimmer with a dark gold color, similar to that of my wings, and it spread out into a massive fence that went off in both directions for eternity. Demons patrolled this side of the gate. The Fallen patrolled it all. And the contrast was so strange. The semi-human looking demons. The beautiful men and women with their array of colored glowing wings. It was mesmerizing.

“My Queen,” a Fallen greeted me with a bow.

I nodded my head to him. “I wish to go to the space between.”

“Of course!” he sprung into action, as did the rest of the Fallen. They guarded the gate as it opened, and I stepped through.

On the other side, the landscape changed. There were rocks and boulders and dark trees everywhere, like a forest forever trapped in twilight. A short distance away, a cabin built with the same dark wood stood nestled between trees. I lifted my skirts and hurried towards it, my heart already yearning for the men inside.

But before I reached the porch, the door opened. Framed in the light from the fire was Michael. His strong, lean frame filled the doorway, and he opened his arms, already welcoming me against him.

I smiled. It was good to be queen, especially when it meant that I got the love of several handsome men. Men who might terrify Heaven and Hell, but who were the perfect lovers for me.

As I got closer, I saw that Michael had blood splattered across his bare chest.

My heart clenched. “Your blood or…?”

“It’s not mine.” He flashed a wide smile.

My pulse instantly sped up, but for a different reason this time. I stepped up onto the porch and ran a hand along his muscular arm. Maybe it was because I was Lilith, but there was something damn sexy about my angel warrior.

“I was just about to take a shower, care to join me?” he asked, that familiar twinkle in his dark eyes.

I nodded and followed him through the rustic cabin toward the bathroom. My gaze swept past the little kitchen, giant bed, and the fire roaring in one corner, then returned to the half-naked angel before me. He folded his big brown wings tighter against his back as he moved, until they sank into his flesh and vanished as we entered the bathroom. Inside, I leaned against the doorframe, waiting and trying not to show just how much I’d missed his touch.

He turned on our shower. I was ever thankful that Hell, and the place between, now had modern conveniences. It made shower sex ahellof a lot more fun.

When he glanced back at me, I pushed away from the doorframe and locked eyes with him as I slid the straps of my dress off my shoulders, letting the material fall in a soft pile on the floor at my feet. His gaze swept over my naked body, and his eyes darkened. He went to the sink and rinsed the blood off his chest, then dried his skin while he studied me.

So, he wasn’t sure he could wait until we got into the shower? I guessed my angel had missed me as much as I’d been missing him.

Michael came back toward me, then slid his hands under my breasts, lifting and caressing them as he skimmed his thumbs across the peaks.

"I could touch you all day," he whispered.

A sigh slipped from my lips. "If only."

Neither of us said it, but we were both thinking it. Soon Lucifer, Michael, and I would have to experience our human life. We’d leave behind Gabriel, and even though I wouldn’t remember any of my men as a human, Gabriel would remember me. And he’d miss me. The way I missed him when he had to be a human, too. It was one of the few disadvantages to being immortals and loving more than one person. At least with Michael, neither of us would remember each other while gone. But still, it was hard knowing that soon we’d all be apart, in our own ways.

He continued to stroke my breasts, drawing me out of my thoughts, and I pushed his boxers off, leaving him naked before me. He already had an erection, and it lifted higher when he leaned down and captured one of my nipples in his mouth. Sucking with the gentlest motions, he pulled a moan from my throat.

"That's good," I whispered, the stress of dealing with Lucifer melting away.

He switched to capture my other peak in his mouth while using his fingertips to tease my now wet nipple. My head dropped back from the sensations of the heat from his mouth and the cooler air from the room. The feeling was almost unbearably delicious. I could almost taste it.

He straightened up and pressed his hips into my hand. I wrapped my fingers around his shaft. My fingers barely wrapped around his girth, but he fit just well enough for me to stroke up and down his long length.

With a moan, Michael slid one of his hands down to bury his fingers in my core.

I parted my legs the best I could to give him room to slip another in. It wasn't easy to hold myself upright while he worked his magic, bringing me to an almost instantaneous orgasm. My knees weakened, and I had to let go of his dick and clutch his shoulders, panting through a hard wave of pleasure.
