Aurora elbowed him with a laugh.“Speaking of wolf.Have you become accustomed to shifting?”

“Yeah. It was super easy to do it on Fey.”She winced as she noticed Aurora’s face.“I’m sorry. This is hard.Being gone and going through all the things we should’ve done together on Fey was super selfish of me.”She inhaled.“I don’t know if you can forgive me for leaving you, sis.Honestly, I don’t—”

Her sister closed the distance between them and covered her mouth with her hand.“You don’t owe me an apology, Starla. You were hurting.I felt it through our bond.It was crushing me, so I know it devastated you. With you back, you feel lighter. The woman before me is not the same as the girl I knew.I get it.We’ll take things slowly and try to build a new foundation. No, not a new foundation but renovate the house.”

“I like that.Thank you for seeing me.I can...show you about my life on Fey.I know we talked daily, but things were hard to explain. It was so beautiful. We can visit Fey, and then you can meet Lula and Belle. They’re the dragons I told you about.Lula taught me a lot.Mind you, she tried to give me sex ed, but I shut that shit down.”She shivered, sending Aurora a tidbit of her conversation with Lula without breaking girl code confidence.

Aurora’s eyes went wide. Her hand came up and covered her mouth.“Oh my Goddess. She’s got two bears for mates?I wouldn’t be able to handle two identical men like Savage.”

Savage growled.“That is good, because I do not have any plans to share my love.”

“So, are you ready to head out to go shopping?”Aurora asked.

She looked at her sister and then at Savage. For the first time since her return, she noticed the difference. Before, Aurora wore typical clothes from the local department stores.Things that were comfortable and affordable.Jeans, leggings, T-shirts, and hoodies.Neither of them was into designer clothes, mainly because they couldn’t afford them.Their friends, what little they’d had, didn’t either. Her sister looked classy and very high-end.Savage wore a watch that probably cost a fortune, along with a ring on his wedding finger and one on his other hand. Both of his rings had diamonds, but her sister's ring finger bore an enormous diamond that sparkled brighter than the chandelier hanging from the ceiling.

“Where exactly are we going to be shopping?”she asked.

“Fifth Avenue,” Savage said, turning on his heel.“My driver will be waiting out front when the two of you are ready.”

“Trust me.It’s best to go along with Savage when he makes a statement like that.Besides, it’s a lot of fun to go shopping with him. They treat us like royalty.I swear, I wanted to walk into a shop with a bunch of bags in my hands and just say in my best fake accent, Big mistake, huge, and then walk out in a huff.”Aurora flicked her hair off her shoulder as she spoke, acting out the scene from Pretty Woman.

Starla laughed.“Did you tell Savage what you wanted to do?”

Her sister’s bright blue eyes sparkled.“Oh yeah.He wanted to act out other scenes later.”

“Dear Goddess, save me.Between you and Lula, I’m going to die of embarrassment.”Starla waved her hand down her body, changing her outfit into one she thought would fit the more upscale area they would be shopping in.

Aurora gasped while Savage nodded. She had a feeling the vampire was very used to magic similar to what she’d done.

They walked out of her room hand-in-hand, with her trailing after the couple. They looked so in love, she had to force the envy back. Her sister sacrificed ten years of her life to raise her.If anyone deserved happiness, it was Aurora.

When they walked down to the landing, she sensed him.Scepter.Goddess, his aura was huge.Honey and spice, mixed with a hint of bergamot and sandalwood. That’s what she associated with him.She wanted to bottle the smell.Trying not to be too noticeable, she breathed deeply without looking around.

“So, where would you like to go first? We can hit any of the flagship stores on 54th Street. Most need an appointment, but for us, they’ll make an exception.I’d suggest starting at Louis Vuitton or Gucci. We can stop at Tiffany & Co., then, if you’d like, we can visit Cartier.Do you like watches?Your sister isn’t a huge fan, but I did buy her a matching one to one of my Rolexes.Of course, she said she’d only wear it on special occasions. Then there’s Prada, Versace, Dior, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Bergdorf Goodman. The last two we can do a lot of damage,” Savage said, taking a coat from a male who appeared from around the corner. He held it out for her sister like a gentleman.

Aurora turned around, giving Savage her back. She shrugged into the leather jacket like they’d performed the act many times.Starla supposed they had.“He is like a drill sergeant when it comes to shopping, Starla.See what I mean about the bags, and Julia?”

Savage pressed his lips to her sister’s throat.Starla noticed his fangs were much longer than they’d been. She turned away. Her heart thumped against her sternum.

“Are you scared of a little bite, Stellina?”Scepter asked, stepping into her space.

“N...no,” she stammered.

He smiled, a disarming tilt of his lips.Starla wanted to wipe the knowing look off his face. She knew this male could read her and probably smell her.Starla lifted her chin.

“Good girl.”He ran the back of his knuckles across her collarbone.

She swallowed, wishing she’d kept the sweatshirt she’d returned in on.Hell, she probably needed to put on full body armor to combat the way her body reacted to his nearness. It was just the residual heat or lack of bond, she told herself.

“Are you ready, Starla?”Aurora asked.

“Yeah.Let’s do this.”She turned away from the alluring man who undid her.Goodness, he wrecked her.She was sure people could see her vibrating at a different frequency than the others.

The spicy scent she wanted to roll around in grew stronger.Starla didn’t look back, even though every cell in her body wanted to do just that. No, she kept her head high and her shoulders back. She imagined Lula swishing her huge pink tail as she led her through a throng of Fey, telling her about loving herself. She thought as Lula’s voice echoed in her mind.‘Everything you have ever wanted is learning how to draw it out of yourself, because you are that powerful, Feywolf.’At first, she wasn’t sure what Lula meant, but then she realized she needed to love herself first if she wanted others to love her.She hadn’t liked herself when she’d gone to Fey.In truth, she’d hated being Starla, the younger sister of Aurora.

Now, she watched her sister and Savage be blissfully happy. She still knew her self-love had a long way to go, but she wasn’t the same defiant teenager. She’d continue to work on herself without making Aurora feel bad for being content.
