I picked her up, so she sat on the bathroom counter. Her legs spread, her hair in foil, she stared up at me with lips parted.

“You’re gorgeous, my god. I love looking at you.”

She snorted before grabbing my shirt and yanking me toward me. “You’re talking to me and not your reflection, right, Romano?”

I barked out a laugh before she kissed the hell out of me. She clawed at my chest, a desperate growl coming from her as she sucked my bottom lip into her mouth. The aggression sent a bolt of lust through me, my cock swelling as I thought about her tight, strong body. God, the idea of her thick thighs clenching around me as she rode me?

I was gonna pass out from how much I wanted it.

Our kiss was teeth and groans, and I sucked her neck, wanting to feel what I did to her. She arched her back, her hands finding my waistband when the sound of a door shutting stopped me.

I stilled. Heart pounding, stomach bottoming out. The door. It meant I should stop. Door meant…my sister.Mack’s eyes darkened, like she was mad I stopped, but then we both heard my damn sister.

“Mack! You here?”

When reality hit Mack, she sat up straighter. Eyes wide, mouth swollen and parted. “Shit.Fuck. She can’t know we did this. No. Not after last night. Goddamn it.” She slid off the counter, running a hand over her face. “Okay, okay, we have to dye your hair green too.”

“Um, what?”

“Why is my brother’s car here?”

God, be subtle, Lo. I groaned, trying to get my cock to settle down as my sister approached the bathroom door. She’d ask, and I had no answer besides I loved being around her best friend.

Never in my life had I ever hooked up with one of Lo’s friends. It was an unwritten rule. She never hooked up with any of mine until Luca, and while it was weird at first, it made perfect sense. But the fact Mack and I hid this from her felt gross. Lo and I had just gotten to a better place after I told her what happened, and I wasn’t sure how she’d react.

“Sit down. Sit on the bench now.” Mack shoved me onto the stool, her cheeks pink. “We’re dyeing your tips.” Mack hit play on her phone, music filling the area with some old-school song my parents liked.

“Booger green?”

“You said you wanted my list, Romano. Now shut the fuck up and play along.”

My lips quirked just as Lorelei joined us in the bathroom.

“What is going on?” Lo said, her gaze moving from the foil in Mack’s hair to my face in the mirror. “Uh, what?”

“I told you he wanted in on the list too, even if I tried to tell him it was a terrible idea. I’m changing my tips to neon green, and now I’m adding some frosted tips to his.”

“Green?” She chewed her cheek, staring at me with a million questions. “You’re dyeing your hair, that is all over campus and social media, green.”

“Just the tips.” I shrugged, trying not to laugh. “It’s for the list, Lolo.”

“Right.” Lo pursed her lips for a beat, a thoughtful, dangerous look in her eyes before she smiled. “I wasn’t expecting this when I came home to grab lunch.”

“Want in on it?” I asked, smirking at her. “Could you imagine Luca’s surprise?”

“He’d find a way to compliment it even though I’m really questioning both your choices. Also, don’t love the fact y’all are becoming close. Am I getting pushed out?”

“Did you and Luca push me out?” I said before Mack could respond. I regretted it immediately because Lo’s face fell, and that wasn’t what I wanted. I winced. “Wait, that came out wrong.”

“No, it’s a fair question. I’m at work all day, and you two are spending time together.” Lo swallowed, her expression still upset. Call it twin shit or the fact we knew each other well, but I’d hurt Lo with that comment.

“Lolo, hey, I’m sorry. Really, that came out wrong. What I meant was to say that you and Luca didn’t push me out when you got together. You include me in everything to the point it annoys me. Mack would never do that to you, you know that, and I’m just a lonely idiot who she’s taking pity on.”

“You’re not an idiot.” She sighed and punched me in the arm. Her eyes spoke for her, the concern in there swirling. We hadn’t talked about Jessica since I told her, but Lo’s fury and thirst for revenge would never end. Her focus went to Mack, who remained frozen. “Who would’ve thought this list would make you and my brother friends?”

“Honestly, not me. Never in a million years, actually. This is still weird to me too, okay? But we really do enjoy hanging out.” Mack shrugged and ran a finger over her jaw, like she was nervous.

“Yeah, I can see that. You both seem happier. That, above everything, makes me happy.” Lo smiled, any hint of distrust disappearing.
