“How do we get around that one then, since I’ve only made out with you, one person?” She came up behind me, her clothes back on. The blush still covered her face and neck, her nipples perfectly tight and hard under her sports crop top. Her eyes seemed bluer, lighter, and I ran a hand over her shoulder. Her skin was magnetic, pulling me toward her. She responded to mytouch in a way I wasn’t used to. There was no performance, just pleasure, and I clenched my jaw to stop from groaning. Today was abouther. Not me.
Plus…nerves still existed deep in my gut. They weren’t gone by any means, but Mack helped settle them down. She wasn’t out to get me. She wasn’t selling my story or lying or tricking me into anything. She wasn’t here to play me.
She leaned into my touch, and fuck, I liked that. “Make out with me again. Then it’s two times,” I teased, already back to the list where I plotted to make more of challenges happen between us. Strip poker? Yeah, that was just with me. Dyeing her hair? I loved the purple bits in them, but she’d probably want to do that with her girls. Losing her phone for day? We could drive out to the lake an hour out of town.
Fuck, that sounded perfect.
“Dean,” she said, her voice all throaty and deep. I stilled, instantly snapping my gaze to her. Her teeth grazed her bottom lip, and her eyes grew large. My voice stuck in the back of my throat with how heated her gaze was.
“Yeah?” I croaked out. Her fingers danced up my arms, over my chest and down my stomach. She took a shaky breath, her cheeks turning pink again. What I would give to know her thoughts. A million dollars? Yeah. Probably that.
