Eyeing the list, my head throbbed with annoyance. Could I even cross out the grinding with a stranger or someone because it was with Dean Romano and not a stranger? I rubbed my right eyebrow, the headache having nothing to do with the shots from the night before and everything to do with Dean.

My fantasy. My crush. My best friend’s brother.

What the hell was I doing? My chest pinched, like the small shield I grew around my heart cracked because I told myself I was over him. No more crush. No more pining.

Yet, we hung out for one week and I was a fangirl again? Stupid. Silly and stupid. I ground the coffee beans, wincing at the sound just as Luca walked out of Lorelei’s room.

He wore low hanging shorts. That was it. My mouth dried up as one small inappropriate thought went through my head. Luca was hot. It was just facts.
