“This is a lot of shit,” I said, whistling as I read the list again. A strange, grossly weird feeling grew in my chest thinking about Mack doing these things with some people who weren’t me.Skinny dipping. Streaking. Naughty in public. Make out. Hook up.I ran a hand over my jaw, working it left to right as tension grew. “You could get into trouble with these.”

“Don’t start with me.” She carried two large glasses of ice water, the condensation dripping down her hand.

My mouth watered. It was hot outside.

She handed it to me before yanking the paper out of my reach. “You weren’t supposed to acknowledgeallof them.”

I fought a grin. “Absolutely not. I need to know how you’re going to do every single one of them.”

“Haven’t figured that out yet, but I have to complete each one to win.” She set her glass down on a coaster and undid one of her braids. With her focus on her hair, I let myself truly check Mack Mallinson out.

After a good night’s sleep, it still wasn’t clear why she of all people got the spark back for me. I spent most of the morning with her, and the pull was even stronger. I wanted to ask her a million questions, but my gaze wandered over her high cheekbones and her beautiful blue eyes, down her neck, and over her chest. Her tits pressed against the tight fabric, sweatstill visible in her cleavage. Call me crazy, but I wanted to lick it up.

Her toned stomach and thick strong thighs had me questioning everything. I shouldn’t be attracted to my sister’s best friend. Not fucking now. I shook my head and caught her gaze. Her lips were pursed, like she was studying me.

I kinda liked her attention on me. It felt different. She wasn’t staring in a way where she plotted to use me or needed something from me. It was refreshing.

She chewed her lip before asking, “Were you honest about joining me forsomeof them?”
