We continued down the road, sharing his water, until we arrived at the apartment I shared with Lo. He’d been over numerous times, with and without Luca or Callum. Did I invite him in? Did I not?

Chewing my lip, I unlocked the door and found him staring at me with his large, intense eyes. If this was how he looked at girls all the time, no wonder they threw themselves at him. He was a like a puppy dog with those big browns. “Care if I come in?”

“Lo’s not home.”

“That’s fine. I figured we could hang, or if you’re busy, I’ll just take off.”
