She sucked in a breath and pressed her lips together. “Harrison.”

“Becca,” I teased.

“I don’t know what to say.” Red splotches covered her cheeks and neck, and she opened and closed her mouth a handful of times. “You’ve wowed me. That doesn’t happen. I always have something to say, and I’m empty. I don’t have a comeback, or a joke, or anything. Literally, my mind is a blank white slate, and it’s unnerving.”

“Wait until you open your gift.” I wiggled my eyebrows, and she squealed. “Want to open it?”

“Hell yes!” She dragged me off the dance floor and pushed me into a chair. “Where is it? You’ve piqued my interest, Harrison Cooper, and now I’m ready.”

“I want you ready in other ways.” I lowered my voice, my intent very clear. “But the gift is first.”

“Give it to me.” She held out her hand and I chuckled, jutting my chin toward the parking lot.

“We’ll have to leave.”

“Okay.” She got up, put her jacket on, and hugged her parents all within a minute. “Let’s go, handsome.”

“Are you always so eager for presents, or are you wanting to get me naked?”

Her eyes flashed with heat, making my dick swell. She ran her hands down my chest, a wonderfully wicked glint in her eyes. “Yes.”

“To which question?”

“Both.” She laughed and walked quickly to my truck. I grabbed her hand and slowed her down, pushing her against the passenger side door and running my nose along her neck.

“You smell so good.” I bit her earlobe and ran my hand up her thigh, teasing the outside of her panties. “If it wasn’t so goddamn cold right now, I’d have some fun with you in the back of my truck.”

“I’d let you.” She ran her hand down the length of my dick and bit down on her lip.

Instead of responding, I picked her up and set her down inside the truck and then ran to the other side.

Give her the present first, then get her naked.I repeated the plan and took a second to catch my breath.

“Okay, to mirror your log gift, I got you something weird.”

“I love weird.” She grinned and searched the floor. “Where is it?”

I reached behind my seat and handed her the small box. She tore open the paper, and nerves racked my body. It wasn’t the same as a playoff game that came down to a field goal, but it was similar. My heart beat way too fast, and I second-guessed my decision.

She looked up, and her face softened. “You look nervous. I’m going to love it no matter what it is. It’s from you.”

“Just get it over with.” I tugged on the collar of my shirt and waited on edge when she pulled out the coffee mug with a large bull on it.

“It’s a bull.” She smiled as she studied it. “Whoa. A bull with very large balls hanging from it.”

“I bought it from a shop in Barcelona. Apparently, all their bulls have balls there.”

She met my eyes for a second before throwing her head back and laughing. “I adore this. I will use it every day.”

“There’s more.” God, my throat was dry, and I kinda wanted to throw up. “Look inside.”

She tipped the mug and pulled out the envelope I’d folded. It took her a couple of seconds to open it, and she gasped. “Oh my. Oh my!”

“You like it?”

The whites of her eyes grew huge. “Is this real?”

“Yup. You pick the dates, and we’re there.”
