“I thought I’d lost you. I can’t lose you. I love you more than anything, LemAN.”
“I love you more than anything, Teagan. You are a blessing from the Goddess and I will never be able to thank her enough.”
He kissed her and she eagerly responded. When they pulled back and stared at each other, there was something he wanted to say to her but he hesitated.
“What is it, LemAN?”
“While I was out, I dreamed of seeing my LoraLI and my son. He was the age he would be if he had lived.”
“I’m sorry.”
“I’m not. They were happy because they were together. LoraLI told me I needed to come back and live a full and happy life…with you.”
She didn’t know what to say. She’d heard stories of others who’d had death experiences and came back to tell about it. He did almost die.
“Did it hurt to see them?”
He shook his head. “No, I felt relief. Like a weight of sadness had been lifted from my heart. I heard your voice calling me and I knew I had to come back for you. You are my future, Teagan, and I want to share everything with you. Including having many, many young—at least six or so.”
“Whoa there, buddy. You come back from the dead and suddenly want to repopulate the world. Let’s just start with getting you back on your feet.”
He pulled her under him, which caught her off guard. “I don’t have to be on my feet to make love to my mate or to make a young.” He kissed her again but this time unleashed the passion he held inside only for her.
She couldn’t help but respond. She wrapped her arms around his neck and opened her legs. He fit between them perfectly. She wanted nothing more than to forget the harrowing last three days. Suddenly she was desperate to feel him inside her, be one with him.
“I love you, LemAN.”
“I love you, too, Teagan.”
“Let’s practice making those babies.”
“Goddess, yes.”
