“I’m taking you up to our room, then we’re going to have a repeat of our honeymoon, and we’re not leaving until you’re pregnant. Got it?” he tells her before turning around and heading for the stairs. I’m pretty sure that’s not possible since it takes a few weeks to know you’re pregnant, but we all get the meaning behind his words.

I hear her giggle again. “Okay.”

“Celebrations are canceled for tonight. We’ll do it tomorrow. You know where the door is, let yourselves out,” Clay shouts as he climbs the steps with his wife in his arms.

GREYSON

I watch Emma stand from the couch as she stumbles over her own feet but regains her footing quickly. She looks up at me with wide eyes, a tiny blush rolling over her cheekbones. Emma doesn’t blush often like my sister, but when she does, it’s beautiful to witness. She clears her throat and straightens, beginning to clean up their mess with the other girls.

I finally get a glimpse of the dress she’s wearing as she comes around the couch, and I almost choke on my own breath. What the hell is that monstrosity?

She catches my mortified expression and raises a hand. “This won’t be my dress! I promise.”Thank God! I don’t think I could fake loving it if she walked down the aisle with that on.

“Hold up, you guys are getting married? Congrats, man! Why didn’t you say anything?” Gabe asks, surprised.

“Because I haven’t proposed yet,” I say with a smirk directed at Emma.

Aubrey reaches her side and whispers to her, “Told you.” It’s just loud enough for me to hear.I wonder what else they talked about while we were gone.

It’s then that I catch a good look at what Aubrey is wearing, and I’m in complete shock. “What the hell are you wearing?!”

My sister flushes a bright red and looks down at the dress. She looks practically naked in it. “I didn’t choose it. I mean, I did. But I didn’t actually look at it. Emma told us to just grab the first thing we found,” she rushes out, placing her arms around her body like it might cover her up.

I glare at Emma, who frowns at me. “Calm down, Greyson. It’s just a dress, and it looks amazing on her.”

“I don’t care how amazing it looks. There’s no way I’m letting my baby sister wear that in front of any man,” I snap back, then turn to Aubrey. “Go get changed,” I order.

“I’m twenty-three, Grey. I’m not a baby anymore,” Aubrey says annoyed as she stomps off to get changed.

“Greyson, you can’t keep treating her like that. She’s a grown woman who can make her own decisions. She’ll never bloom into her best potential if you always keep her on such a tight leash,” Em scolds me.

“Bunny. I’m not done with you, either,” I say sharply, but then sigh. She’s right, though. I’m just trying to protect my sister.“Can you please just go get Gracie so we can leave?”

She nods and walks away.

“So, Kitten, where are we making these fantasies of yours come to life? Your place or ours?” Noah asks Ronnie as he grabs her delicately by the waist and presses her against his chest.

“Ugh! I never should have said anything!” she whines but doesn’t push him away. I suspect she might actually have a thing for them.

“Oh come on, Veronica. It’s okay to admit you want us.” He smirks with a wink.

“Shut up, Casanova.” She giggles and finally pushes him away, going in her own direction to get changed.

“So I guess that makes us even,” Silas says with a sly grin once all the girls have vacated the room.

“How so?” I turn to him.

“Well, you have history with my wife, and your girlfriend thinks of me when she touches herself,” he says smugly.Asshole.

“Fuck off.” I laugh, shaking my head.I guess he’s got a point. Now I understand why he was so pissed. The thought of Emma thinking of another man makes me want to commit murder.

Emma finally comes back dressed in her normal clothes with Gracie on her hip. Sam strolls behind her with two garment bags, as well as Gracie’s diaper bag, while talking and smiling with Cecilia as she holds Dante’s hand. I hear Silas growl from my side and instantly chuckle. He still has no clue that Sam is most likely more attracted to him than his wife, and I find that hilarious.

“Sam’s car is at our place, so he needs to come back with us,” Em informs me with a tender smile. She’s trying to butter me up.

“That’s fine, he can take my truck back,” I answer before saying hello to Sam.

“I’m going to take Dante’s car seat out and put it in your car, Cecilia,” Sam tells her as he walks to the door, but Silas hurries over before he has the chance to reach it.
