I settle on top of her and lift one of her legs over my shoulder. This position will take me even deeper, and although we need to stay quiet, I also want to push her to her limit.

With five laps remaining in the Australian Grand Prix, our team is on track for a 1-2 finish. I overtook Hayden on lap 22, but he has managed to maintain his position. If we can hold this result, he will also strengthen his standing in the championship.
Hayden has been in eighth place, but with a P2 finish, he would move up several spots. I cross the finish line, witnessing the fireworks go off, and when my race engineer announces over the radio that it’s a 1-2 finish, I couldn’t be more ecstatic.
This result will also boost our standings in the constructors’ championship.
When we park our cars, I go over to Hayden, hug him, and congratulate him on a great race. His eyes are glistening, and I feel like a proud mentor to him. He’s only three yearsyounger than me, but in this sport, that feels like a lifetime.
I celebrate with our team, but don’t spot Jessica in the crowd while I’m on the podium. I’m sure she’s down there, but the crowd has been crazy this weekend, and it’s hard to spot any familiar faces.
When I get to the interview zone, I’m tempted to walk straight over to Star News, but we haven’t discussed what Jessica wants in this regard.

I happily agreed and said I would pay for whatever room she booked. She hasn’t said anything about hearing me and Jessica, but something tells me we weren’t as discreet as I hoped.
