“No, of course not.”

“No.” I rolled my eyes. “You think he can seduce me.” I looked around at them. “Away from all of you. Who I love and have children with.”

“We're not worried about you, mo shíorghrá,” Raza said. “I know you would never betray us.”

“Then what is it?”

“Just a feeling,” Daxon muttered.

Tiernan nodded. “A terrible knot in my belly. I don't know what Astaroth could do to change our lives, but I feel as if . . .”

“As if he will,” Raza finished.

Everyone went silent. For once, Killian didn't break it.

It was me. “This is ridiculous! Star is not going to interfere with our family. We're allies who sometimes work together on Earth. That's it.”

“I don't know, babe,” Killian said. “I'm starting to worry too. There's something off about this.”

“No. Seren's right,” Sever suddenly said. “Astaroth may be attracted to her, he may even want a family, but he doesn't wantthis.” He waved his arm out. “No one outside of this wants this. Trust me.”

We gaped at him.

“Holy fuck, dude,” Killian said. “Tell us how you really feel, why don't ya?”

“I'm not saying I'm unhappy,” Sever hurried on. “The opposite, in fact. I'm happier than I have ever been. But I only became this wayafterwe bonded—all of us. At first, I didn't want this at all. Then I became desperate. I was willing to do anything to have Seren. So I agreed to share her. I never thought that I would be comfortable with all of you, much less grow to love you like brothers. But I'm more than comfortable. I'm joyous. I know I'm part of something amazing, and I wouldn't trade it for anything. Astaroth, however, does not know what I do. He never will. He covets, yes, but not truly. And frankly, we are like a bunch of poor winners to grumble about his desire. This anxiety we feel is simply love. We love Seren so deeply thatseeing another man long for her upset us. It upsets us as deeply as our love goes. We shouldn't let other people sour what we have. Let Astaroth pine. That's his issue to deal with. I'm going to revel in what I have.”

The other men exchanged frowns.

“Come on, Sever, let's go to bed,” I said. “They can figure it out for themselves.”

Sever grinned at me and hurried to take my hand.

“Hey! I'm good with being a winner.” Killian rushed after us, peeling clothes off as he came.

After getting his shirt off, Kill turned to smirk at the other men. Maybe he even stuck his tongue out at them, I don't know. I was momentarily distracted by his broad back and shimmering wings. They were useless but oh, so beautiful, glimmering phosphorescent green and peacock blue even though they lay beneath his skin. It would have looked like a tattoo if not for the ridges of the wing bones that created raised borders.

Then Killian was facing me again with a lopsided grin, his deep auburn hair falling across his face. Yeah, the front view wasn't bad either. He sandwiched me with Sever, their hands adept at removing my clothing while their lips paid attention to other things—the side of my neck, the curve of my hip, and, of course, my lips.

I was nearly naked when Daxon, Tiernan, and Raza joined us at last. I wasn't sure if they had been swayed by what Sever said or my nudity, and I didn't care. I was over talking about Star. I wanted to be with my husbands and forget the way I had felt when he looked at me. Yeah, we were all gettingknots in our bellies about Star, but mine were brought on by the butterflies that preceded them.

Someone took over undressing me as my mouth was claimed by Tiernan. I sank my hands into his long, silky hair, then trailed them further down to pull the hem of his shirt out of his jeans. And then I was lost, all thoughts of Star banished.

Hands and lips and hard bodies. In seconds, I was naked, then lifted onto the bed. Laid atop Sever. I didn't want to close my eyes, but my husbands kept kissing me, and it felt wrong to keep them open. So I fell deeper into the sensations of muscles pressing into my flesh and mouths latching onto my nipples. I arched up into them, hands grasping and legs spreading. Someone fed at my sex, and I opened my eyes to see it was Raza, his wings put away so that his bent back was revealed, the play of muscles beneath his black skin teasing me. His clawed hands pressed my thighs further apart, and then he looked up, his golden stare locking with mine. Raza growled and licked at me more fervently.

I pulled away from Daxon to say, “Oh, fuck.”

“Yes, please.” Dax rose to his knees.

I looked up Daxon's tattooed body, the indigo ink mesmerizing, but not nearly as much as his eyes. He wasn't using his magic on me. Not unless you count the innate magic of his masculinity. No, Dax was simply looking at me, but his gaze was filled with so much love and lust, I could barely breathe.

Then Daxon gripped the base of his cock, and his stare turned pleading.

With a grin, I opened my mouth.

“Thank you, sweetheart,” Daxon moaned as he slipped into my mouth. “Oh, fuck. Yes. Suck me. I think I was about to die.”

Dax rocked gently in and out of my mouth, sliding over my tongue. I tightened my lips around him even as I clasped Killian's head to my left breast and worked Tiernan's cock with my right hand. Daxon's taste was enough to make my head spin, but I hadn't forgotten about Sever beneath me, his hands massaging me and lips on my neck. And neither had Raza.
